Absolute joke this, surprised no one talking about it. Lack of transparency for one a disgrace, almost spiv like. Being tied to the castore brand not a massive issue for me, but considering we are going to be tied to Umbro for the foreseeable.. yuk, who wears Umbro? No one. Yet another example of our clubs prestige slipping.

Another success for the absolute cucks on our board.

Mate, I was actually reading about this earlier something along similar lines. Basically we've had two AGMs since this deal was agreed, and haven't been told about it.

It is quite dubious tbf, apparently we were supposed to put it out to tender and have clauses where people could match etc.

Never happened, and this seems to have been pushed through in the background, albeit with a slight rejig because Castore own the Umbro licences.

A "lack of transparency", not so much for spivlike syphoning of money. Moreso, out of embarrassment.

Regardless, it just shows that we can't get real control of retail, no matter how long it is since the club allowed Ashley in the door, about 13 years ago.

Just another part of the Omnishambles.

undisclosed duration, undisclosed fee. A lack of transparency always makes me wonder who is at the madam 🤔

The man whose M.O. is to fund distressed businesses and make sure he gets his pound of flesh is Ashely.

Not saying he is behind it, but that M.O. is what it smells of.

I’m much less bothered about what sort of blouse the team will play in than I am about getting a pair of fullbacks who can actually defend.

Aye, but we need to pay for those full backs and a chunk of our revenue comes from retail.

What is wrong with the Castore deal? I ask because I know nothing about it except that it lasts until 2030 and the actual manufacturer is Umbro.

Are there better deals available?

Is there provision to increase the royalties or whatever it is the Club gets out of it, in the event that Rangers win the Champions League in 2028?
