Cousin Out For Six Weeks

Recommended Posts

There is absolutely no way we will play 4-4-2 though and rightly so going into this game 2-0 up.

Id pack the midfield and leave a pacey striker up on his own, first choice Novo then JCD.

No way, sorry. JCD will always come before Nacho. WS has shown that already. I think Nacho is better as a sub, BUT coming on with at least a half hour to go to make an ompact.

If he starts he gets my backing, I just personally think he is more effective with his pace an appetite to come on as an early sub. If on the wing, then I may start him ahead of Burke....

I agree with that, but he is very effective with the time he is on.

Loads of discussions on formations. From what I take from all the opinions, we have two guys that can effectively play 451. Cousin an JCD. If neither available or reliable then wat do we do? Do we stick with the same formation that has served so well an pick from Boyd, Naismith, Mcculloch or Naco? Or do we play to our strengths an play 442?

IMO it's a catch 22. The defence is fine an cant be changed. The midfield over the last few games have been outstanding. The strikers score when they are picked :S

Where do we make the compromise? 451 with no suitable 1 option, or 442 an sacrifice one of the midfielders who has been perfoming well?

We'll see WS's decision tomorrow....
