As the rest of Walter Smith's squad begin their pre-season preparations this morning, the powerful striker still has three games to play for his Norwegian club before he is allowed to join his new team. Velicka will go straight to Rangers' pre-season training camp on the Dutch-German border in just over two weeks' time, but the �£1million signing has business to settle at his current club first. advertisement The former Hearts man said: "I want to end my time with Viking in style. "It is not a problem for me to play these three matches. I want to win them and end my stay in Stavanger in a great way before I leave." The former Hearts man admitted an opportunity to move to Rangers was just too good to turn down. He said: "Rangers came in and made an offer. "They are among the best clubs in Europe and I think every player at Viking would have accepted such a move." Velicka admits he has been sounding out team-mate Maurice Ross, who played for Rangers for six years, about what to expect at Ibrox. He added: "I have talked a bit to Mo about what is awaiting me at Rangers and I am looking forward to it." I hope he doesn't get injured because he has the same contract as Webster.
