Some recent comments from Hemdani in the press seem to suggest he could be on his way out. I hope not as IMO he's one of our best midfielders. If it does turn out to be the case, let's just hope it's part of a deal for an attacking mid.

He was the best midfielder and probably player 2 seasons ago, last season he was woeful and one of the worst if not thee worst IMO......

...From the Record

Meanwhile, Hemdani will miss his country's friendly against United Arab Emirates on August 20 for reasons he refused to disclose. New Rangers signing Madjid Bougherra is named in head coach Rabah Saadane's squad but Hemdani, fully fit and a regular in recent games, isn't.

Hemdani refused to say why he had been left out but insisted he will return for a World Cup qualifier against Senegal next month.

He said: "All I will say is there are decisions which have been taken privately between myself and the selectors which should not be made public.

"The coach knows why I am absent and it must remain in-house. But people will see when the truth does come out that my position and commitment have not changed. Will I face Senegal? Absolutely."
