  1. Well it must have had an impact. I watched the Sunday edition tonight online and all those points listed were covered by Jonathan Sutherland with Marvin Bartley.
  2. Yes! Apologies! Mixed up my right and left! No wonder my feet hurt so much.🥴
  3. I wasn't able to see the game live but will catch it later on RTV. I did read an interesting piece today from the PQ Ginger Whinger. He also condemned Souttar's performance but in mitigation pointed out when Souttar agreed a pre contract with us, the assumption was he would replace Goldson on the left side. Goldson resigning changed that, so at the moment he is playing out of position on the right. The RTV analysis after the Spurs game did put that Souttar / Barasic combination under severe scrutiny. It appears the Sands / Barasic combination is a more stable option? Of course we also have Davis & Yilmaz to blend in as well of course.
  4. Isn't it a tad unusual for an opposition manager to admit one of his players should have "walked"? Not many also refer to opposition players by their nicknames "Scotty" and "Tav"? He also "knew" Arfield was going to score? Sounds like he had the Gers for an away win on his coupon. Can imagine that interview going down a storm in some quarters!
  5. I have it on good authority that as well as the modest transfer fee, Rangers are also supplying a bag of footballs, as part of the deal. Apparently, United seem to unfathomably lose quite a few when a certain team from Glasgow visits? 🤔
  6. I have it on good authority that Salonika CSC will only allow entry to those wearing the green and white hooped rag. Furthermore, it must be of the more "ripe" variety, with at least 6 months since it's last wash. I believe the wearer, preferably, should have dodged soap for a considerable undefined period as well? Are you able to comply with these stringent conditions @Gonzo79?
  7. Another exciting prospect. Great to see we have an option to buy as well.
  8. Mmm, interesting indeed. I await @26th of foot comments and lowdown on said Mr McIntyre!😁
  9. Just cannot understand how anyone can think this is anything but a great deal. (Providing we get the £10m by whatever method.) Aribo has been a great player for us. Despite Bowyer's protestations when he signed, we developed him into a better player, he's won two medals and played in a major European final (in which he scored). However, he now wants to move on. It could be argued that those 70 games last season was just too many as he has looked a shadow of the player he was. Regardless of where in England he goes, he will play considerably less games given the superior squads and lack of Euro football. That and the huge increase in wages will compensate I'm sure. We will miss him but I think the time is right for him to move on.
  10. Ah! Robert Burns very good. How about Kenneth Williams? Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it infamy!
  11. 100% Correct. Not only pre-match - during it as well. Be thankful they don't have a direct influence on the coaching, management or player buying and selling model at our wonderful club. Best left to the experts. Time to relax and enjoy the close season.
  12. Ain't that the truth! Get's even worse when you consider Fir Park & Tannadice are hosting Euro football next season. Both teams lost more games than they won, in the case of the former with a massive -19 goal difference. Oh, and the club that finished 7th gained more points than both of them with a superior goal difference as well! Is this even possible in any other European League? I'm sure whoever they draw will savour a real Scottish atmosphere. Which would you choose? Scalded by hot drinks thrown from the crowd or watch the match ball magically disappear at every opposition throw in? What an absolute joke the Scottish game is.
  13. @Rousseau, that was my reaction when I saw it as well!😂 Such a proud moment. I'm truly honoured to be leading the table in only my second season on here. So tight at the top though, lot still to play for. I have only missed one entry all season. No prediction for the home game against Braga due to emergency surgery for detached retina! Might cost me dearly!🥴
  14. Watching on TV as the teams were coming out the tunnel last night to that cacophony of Ibrox noise sent a tingle down my spine. The close camera panning the Rangers faces showed a steely determination in them all. For some reason though, one player in particular caught my eye. His pose was slightly different from the rest. Hands on hips, his face scanned the crowd with a certain aura of assured confidence and belief. I had watched the same guy play last July in Birkenhead close to his birthplace. I had watched him crash and burn in the CLQ against Malmo at Ibrox a few weeks later when he was sent off and our CL qualifying hopes disappeared as quickly as he did up the tunnel. He continued to bemuse me and other fans up and to the turn of the year. In and out the team, good in flashes poor in others. With the January transfer window, quite a few on here said cut losses and sell. To be honest I wasn't opposed to that view either. I don't know what exactly changed. Gerrard wanted him and got his wish, but I feel that Gio has moulded him into key member of this team. I see a player now with a huge appetite and belief. A fierce competitor with a heart of a lion. A player with huge stamina and energy, who can adapt quickly to changes in formation and role. A man who knows what it means to wear that shirt and leave everything out there for the cause. Step up my man of the match John Lundstrum.👏👏👏
