I think we should blow the whistle on this season's competition.
I will be honoured to carry the Gersnet banner in the Champions League next season as long as it is centred on the Cote d'Azur. I have great concerns for the penurious folk of Monaco.

Contrary to popular belief, Kittybrewster is not a malarial swamp.
I seem to remember there was a Typhoid outbreak in the mid-sixties in the Granite city.
Furryboots city was locked down amid an emergency quarantine order, nearly 500 cases emanated from a can of corned beef.
There was a rumour Neil Simpson ate a tin and became demonic. It could have been worse if he had consumed the tin's contents too.

Started the second half better, looked like we were attempting to notch the second. Fifteen minutes, hit the post, generally kept control but a hard watch. We got the result and if we have to revisit St Mirren park again this season, I hope it is the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Nil - one Rangers at half time but, it is a hard watch.
Conditions are not great, swirling, blustery wind adding to difficult under foot conditions. The same for both sides but, again we seem to have greater difficulty in controlling the ball.
Both Wright and Sterling are out of the game so far. St Mirren have penetrated our right flank on three occasions, hitting the bye line and putting the ball across our six yard box. Perhaps Sterling could be put in front of Tav' to block access? We seem to struggle coping with St Boo's energy.
Let's notch the second early in the second period, put this game and our nerves to bed.

So has he got to remain in Tobermorey until then?
A fortnight's stay in Tobermory will teach him, after the midges have feasted he will never moan about the ferocity of the Auchenhowie mosquitoes.

I can't even get an appointment with a "socialist" dentist these days. They're all too busy coining it in doing veneers and Botox.
I suppose each Dentist has a considerable constraint on every working day if their pre-bed ritual is deletion of text messages?
Must be a daily opportunity cost.

I believe Brenda is keen to return to the city of the Livers. A Taxi awaits on standby to take the LadyBhoy experience back to Merseyside.

My favourite player of the 21st century. Did all his talking on the pitch, a really effective midfielder and someone who comes across as a decent sort too. His retirement is an end of an era in some ways. He was the last player still at the club who was signed by Walter Smith, also the last player who played before our 2012 crash. One of a small group of Rangers players to have played in 2 European finals. Everyone knew this was almost certainly going to be the outcome, an ACL injury at any age is a big injury for a player, but at his vintage a comeback seemed unlikely. His last act at the club was to introduce young Northern Irishman Ross McCausland to the first team while caretaker for a couple of matches before Clement took over. McCausland hasn't lost his place since. There's something fitting about that.
Steve Davis took the team for that game against St Mirren in Paisley and started young Zak Lovelace. He was doing very well before sustaining a long term injury before half time. Davis substituted Lovelace for another youngster, Ross McCausland.
I do not know his plans or intentions going forward in the game but, I hope the club can persuade him to join the coaching staff. A voice for youth is necessary going forward in Euro competition.

This is nonsense , it was big hawns Charles Green who threatened to with hold his registration unless we got some money.
Sandy Jardine who was a real Rangers man said they all let us down including Davis.
Don't reply with any PR bullshit.
Obviously, I have a false memory.
Thank you for the provision of truth. I admit I am not comfortable crediting 'Big Hawns' for ensuring the club received a fee. When the Normandy stud farm owner was at the club, I determined to ignore him. Now, he has departed I do not want him intruding upon my warm memories.
I must steel myself against possible club PR penetration but, I suspect my admiration of Steve will endure.

Steve Davis was entitled to act similarly to Naismith and Whittaker.
When he departed the club for Southampton, he insisted upon Rangers receiving a fee.
A proper professional, a proper Ranger.

I have related as a Primary schoolboy, often I sat with my Grandfather in the old section G of the Main Stand. There were some characters among the sea of raincoats and bunnets. One old chap had a hand made rickety(when is the last time a Gersnetter saw one) and would bellow when Henderson received the ball, "stick it in the bunion bag Wullie".
As a ten year old I though he could not pronounce, 'onion'!

The former Hibee, Yahoo and, Dandy is to become Ayr United's new Gaffer. The 38 year old will be appointed tomorrow, bringing his extensive eight months managerial experience at Fleetwood to Somerset Park.
I have posted this news in the Bears' Den because we have been drawn to face the Honest Men at Ibrox in the next round of the Scottish Cup. Sincerely, I hope when he arrives at the Stadium, during his time in the dug out and, when he departs; that all Bears ignore him and his faux Irish narcissist, Plastic McGeady.

Ah Clatty Bella, big Dancers burd.
Peter McDougall invented a wonderfully indicative character to represent the Port, Clatty Bella had the best line in, 'Just a Boys' Game'.
Jake and Dancer escape the torrential rain by entering the close of Clatty's flat. Drookit, they chap her door and whilst crossing the threshold inquire after the provision of a towel? Clatty replies,
"Naw, ma boay's gone tae the swimming wae it".
Such brevity?

Reflecting on the game this morning, I am becoming concerned at the problems cross balls are causing our defence. Looks to me that we are using zonal marking which we tried and failed with during Gio's time. We simply didn't have the players to execute it. It is not quite so noticeable when Jack is between the sticks.
You are correct, in the last couple of seasons the amount of important goals lost to opposition cross balls is undeniable.
The Europa Cup final, last season's League Cup final and Scottish Cup semi-final and, this season's Champions League qualifier against PSV home and away.
The Europa Cup final equaliser is most frustrating, why did we NOT stop the cross coming in?

I suspect the first half will be difficult, the pitch will be sticky and will soon churn.
The soggy pitch is the same for both teams, I want professional application tonight. Dessers is a tall, strong running lad. He must stand up and take the hits.
Score first, second and, third; put yourselves on easy street.

Forty years past in the wake of the Falkland Conflict, Mrs Thatcher's Government wanted to surf the feel good wave by promoting KAPE(Keep the Army in the Public Eye). They came up with Executive Stretch, a long weekend of middle to senior management from well known companies to participate in a 30 K slog. Mixed groupings of eight Bankers, Accountants, Lawyers, ....... etc from Lloyds Bank, ICI, Honeywell, .... etc were accompanied by both an Officer and senior NCO on a TAB course consisting of kayaking, orienteering, abseiling and culminating on an Assault Course.
The first one was based at Garelochhead and the course straddled three lochs and Glen Douglas. Considerable military support was available reference shelter/sleeping, rations and, provision of necessary kit. I believe the idea was to increase understanding on both sides of pressures and demands? We were requested to submit general reports on both the organisation and conduct. I complied suggesting it should be scaled back considerably; a wander and a couple of lunches could achieve the same communication. I received the companies suggestions, they wanted it tougher and demanded individual reports.
I was not prepared to offer career defining reports and most others agreed. The entire concept was handed over to the TA and ran for a further several years.
It was a recipe for serious injury and disaster.

Rangers Women - Games and Updates
in Rangers Chat

The SWPL consists of 32 games.
The 12 clubs play each other twice, home and away - 22 games then splits into two sections of six. Another home and away robin ensues, thus 22 plus 10 = 32. There are another 14 games to go.
Meantime, Rangers ladies are six points clear at the top of the league.
