It's really not a bad deal then, eh? If we average say 50 games a season, then it's something like £4.50 a game, plus there's all of the other content for folk who want it.
-
Mate, am I right in saying that if a Rangers game is being played on a Champions League night you need to watch it on RTV on demand or do you still get it live because you're outside the UK & ROI?
-
Thanks for that Ian! If it's true that Winks will train with us, then it's maybe a good sign that we've got a chance of getting him on loan.
-
Great post mate and I don't disagree with you, but there's other possible angles as well, such as any external legal firm/s who had access to the Rangers case files with staff who have far less monitored access. There's also apparently some pretty major issues with disorganisation within HMRC. I know someone who works in the massive EK office near Hairmyres and apparently the place is total chaos with a very high turnover of staff as well.

$299 for the 'unlimited' package gets him every game live (and also on demand) plus access to every program and the full RangersTV program archive. You can check out the various packages here - http://www.rangers.co.uk/rangerstv/information

Scottish League Cup 1st Round Draw: Rangers v Peterhead
Zappa replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
That's annoying to put it politely. The attendance will no doubt be lower now. -
Ashley has nothing to do with RangersTV as far as I know, but it wouldn't surprise me if it runs at a loss and the Club needs to subsidize it (hence the Flamingo Land sponsorship paying for Derek Johnstone).
-
Don't joke about that mate. Samaritans phone lines will be busier than our Club's ticket hotline if Jig gets brought back as a 1st team player.
-
Apart from Danny Wilson who we already know quite well it's almost impossible to make a proper judgement until we've actually seen them in competitive action, but yes, I'm reasonably happy so far. Mark Warburton said he'd be looking to bring in players who would add 'value' to the squad and so far it looks to me like that's what he's done. He's brought in a 23 year old central defender who we previously sold to Liverpool for millions and he's brought in a couple of extremely promising 24 year old players from down south who were sought after by ex-EPL Clubs currently playing in the English Championship. That's not a bad start to our rebuilding process IMO.
-
He's also the clown that tried to advise the Scottish government it would be a good idea to scrap the legal concept of presumption of innocence (innocent until proven guilty).
-
I'm guessing the defender is Reece Wabara and the midfielder is either Jordan Thompson, Andy Halliday or John Eustace. The striker has me stumped though!
-
We've signed 2 central defenders and a goalkeeper for the 1st team and we've got several midfielders on trial, plus we've signed 2 Academy players, so I'm comfortable with how it's going so far. As for scouting, that's a different matter. The lack of scouts may well be hampering the new manager slightly, but I don't see a scouting system/network as being something which can be rebuilt quickly never mind overnight. It could take the Club at least 6 to 12 months to put a proper scouting system back in place with the right personnel.
-
He was mostly rotten on the pitch last season, plus I think he's exactly the type of player who could cause dressing room unrest and start turning players against the new manager if he's unhappy about Mark Warburton's team selections and tactics. I know the Club's not swimming in cash, but personally I'd rather pay Kenny Milller to leave than pay him to stay.
-
I'd rather Kenny Miller was nowhere near our 1st team or Murray Park. Finding out he'd managed to trigger an automatic contract extension was a massive disappointment.
-
It was only an initial discussion about an idea. A detailed proposal hasn't even been created yet. The RST started polling their members as soon as the minutes of the meeting were released today and RF have been inviting their members to leave comments and questions on the subject.

Has anyone asked the Club at any of these meetings what they intend doing with the membership scheme which Graham Wallace set up last year?
-
I think you must be trying to take the mickey here because it's pretty obvious that calling the supporters groups "self-interest groups" is derogatory and it's pretty obvious that you meant it to be derogatory as well.
-
Using derogatory terms to describe legitimate supporters groups which collectively represent tens of thousands of members makes it look as if it's you who's being petty.
-
I don't even think the RSL ever intended to gather large numbers of members. It was always just going to be a wee clique of like minded weirdos and trouble makers.
-
At least by involving the Association, RST & RF in the initial discussions the Club are instantly bringing elected reps to the table who collectively represent tens of thousands of supporters. That's a massive step forward from the way the RFB was set up.
-
What a bizarre situation.
-
It might not sound very complicated when you don't think it through properly, but it's a ridiculous idea. The RST is going nowhere and RF has almost 14,000 members/contributors, so nobody in their right mind will disband that either.

Scottish League Cup 1st Round Draw: Rangers v Peterhead
Zappa replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Peterhead, ouch! I was hoping to avoid them! -
It's amazing how the Assembly's seemed to be effectively defunct for years and yet all of a sudden up pop 2 Assembly reps when the Club's having a meeting about creating another new umbrella group!
