  1. The point I'm making is entirely relevant to the thread and relates to the article you posted. We should get our own dysfunctional house in order before attempting to rectify the other dysfunctional houses. There is no right side in this sorry saga both parties are at fault and in an ideal world both should depart, nobody can be bigger than the club.
  2. We have a Chairman and a CEO briefing against each other through the press and washing our dirty linen in public that's not the way we should be conducting our business let alone advocating that the rest of Scottish do likewise. The whole spectacle is unedifying and undignified, none of the parties involved or the club come out of this with their reputations enhanced. Let's not kid ourselves the temporary breakout of entente cordiale in the boardroom has little to do with the corporate structure and governance but everything to do with maintaining our overvalued share price, City types won't take too kindly to one of their own being booted out and the market can't handle Green's holding being dumped on it.
  3. Yes there is, Green needs to get our house in order before pontificating to others. I'm not the one wearing blinkers in this instance.
  4. Practice what you preach then Mr Green before you lecture all and sundry.
  5. A touch of the Basil Fawlty's in this thread....
  6. That's what I'm hearing, done deal apparently.
  7. If he stops making ludicrous claims then I won't be able to throw them back at him eh? but as long as he does he leaves the door open.
  8. Surely a CEO of a company claiming its' value will increase by a factor more than 8 in a period of 5 years falls under that scope.
  9. Rangers.co.uk are no longer hosting the prospectus pdf so I'm working from memory, Murray's contract has a six month notice period applying to both parties and iirc a confidentiality clause is present. Any shareholder can inspect the directors contracts at the registered place of business during normal office hours. Green too has a fiduciary duty but given his wild rambling claims of "£100m turnover" and "worth half a billion" etc. you wouldn't think so, how AIM haven't rapped his knuckles yet is beyond me.
  10. Credible sources said clearly and openly that Whyte was a c*&t, they were "disregarded off hand", is it just coincidence that Mediahouse played a major part in that then and are still in the "thick of it" today? Rightly or wrongly Murray's position is now untenable, he'll be paid off and gagged and the truth will be buried.
  11. He was appointed as a fig leaf no more no less.
  12. He was the wrong man appointed for the wrong reasons, however that says more about those who appointed him than it does of him.
  13. His fondness for a tipple was known to those who appointed him before he was appointed, what does that say about their judgement and modus operandi? He has served his purpose and is now to be hung, drawn and quartered.
  14. If only .
  15. Take off the Green tinted spectacles once in a while.
  16. Mediahouse now earning their corn. Expect a complete character assassination of Malcolm Murray.
  17. Try Occam's razor.
  18. Yes, whoever fed Jackson that story is singing from the same hymn sheet as Malcolm Murray.
  19. I doubt Murray is the only one within Ibrox exasperated with Green.
  20. Donald Muir certainly was.
  21. Murray wasn't blackmailed he simply sacrificed us for his own personal benefit.
  22. No need for him to wait, he makes it clear in the article that there wasn't an impediment to him investing contrary to the common held myth, in fact King increased his holding from just under 5% to just over 5% when Murray Sports Limited divested prior to the takeover by Whyte. His original shareholding being in MSL not in RFC plc direct.
  23. Interesting interview, not seen it on any of the usual paces.
  24. He never owned property in Monaco, merely rented a one bed crash pad. However he has/had a property in Grasse (about 25 miles from Monaco) which a former abode of Baby Doc Duvalier.
  25. In England Ticketus have "real rights" to the tickets, in Scotland they only have "personal rights".
