  1. I've always maintained a high regard for AJ and would gladly have him back. Not enough Rangers men around these days with the same level of dignity. Whenever he says anything I always feel it is what he truly believes and that there is never any hidden agenda in his words.

Although I hope he is talking absolute bollocks this time!! :)

I would agree with that. Hindsight is a great thing but alarm bells should have been ringing for all of us when AJ and others were coming out so vociferously against Whyte.

  2. Scotland Under-19s secured their place in the UEFA European Championship elite round following a 1-1 draw with Germany in Belarus this afternoon.

Scotland: Kelly, Souttar, Hendrie, McKenna, Sinnamon, O'Hara (Lindsay 53), Henderson, Walsh, Johnstone, Oliver, Nicholson, Petrie (Cpt.) (Nicholson 46), Lindsay, Telfer (Oliver 53).

Well done to the four young Rangers players.

Hopefully one or two of them will get a chance in our first team. They seem to be progressing well.

  3. The Rangers support is probably the most fractured support on Planet Football.

Even during the administration and liquidation process, the different fan groups were all pursuing different agendas. We seem more interested with fighting amongst ourselves and discrediting people who don't share the same opinion than we do seeing the bigger picture.

The sooner we get one fan body with everyone pulling in the one direction the better. How many other clubs do you know that have a Trust, Association and Assembly plus several other wee off-shoot groups? (VB, SoS, Blue Order, Union Bears etc). It's absolutely ridiculous.

  4. It would surprise me if they could get a conviction for the Bobby Sands line.

I'd imagine they would have a better chance of securing a conviction for the YCV line in the song.

Regardless it's an absolute scandal. You would think the coppers would have better things to do with their team than getting up at the crack of dawn to raid a teenagers house. I'd be hopeful that they would be breaking down the doors of almost all the away grounds we have visited this season as their fans seem to take great delight in the use of the H word.

  5. I'd rather see McAusland play at right back instead of Foster and Crawford play on the right instead of Peralta. Either that or give Templeton a chance on the right side.

  6. That's an interesting point at the end, does anyone know what the criteria for the bonuses were last season?

Was it just for winning the league?

The club's finance director and other board members would deserve a bonus if the financial results were of a good enough standard and not a substantial loss.

Players who got out and win games and trophies for Rangers Football Club full deserve their bonus money.

  7. Mather/Stockbridge said they would try to have them available by the end of August but certainly for the 18th September.... Still no sign despite various rumours that they're imminent.

As for AGM, I think McCoist suggested in an interview last week it was being planned for 29th October but again that's not been officially confirmed.

Thanks Frankie. Alarm bells are definitely ringing. We would be in breach of AIM rules if accounts are not released.

  8. I am hopeful of a good cup run. By the time we get to January the players will all be match fit and will be accustomed to playing with each other.

If we can avoid Celtic in the early rounds I think we have a reasonable chance of doing well.

  9. Faure just doesn't look comfortable at RB. You play him at centre half or not at all. I think McAusland should have continued at right back.

The defensive midfield berth should be filled by either Peralta or Black. Don't want to see Arnold stuck out on the right.
