I for one cannot believe that we offered Pandza a deal without having him over for a look, medical and no pre-season in him.
Sidenote ... doesn't it smack those who continually whip up the rumours about our imminet financial collapse in the face when we are apparently able to sign 9 or even 10 new players (wages and all)? Or do these people really assume that the current board has no idea how this will work out in the next 12 months or so? That there is no plan or finances in place? I'm not saying there is, but it still makes you wonder.
I'll remain worried about our financial state until I see the accounts for this year. Remember Craig Whyte came in and signed a couple of players of 25k a week contracts.

Until we get rid of at least two of Perry, Cribari and Hegarty then signing another central defender would be ludicrous.
Exactly we really need to get rid of the deadwood in January and bring in a good centre back in January for the start of the Scottish Cup campaign.

Sooner the accounts are published and the AGM is called the better. All this off-the-field nonsense is taking away from what has been a good start to the season (with the exception of Forfar).

Would rather McCulloch played at centre back and if he's gettin goals from that position we should all be delighted.
Thought Faure had a poor game yesterday and was disappointed to see McAusland out of the team who has been playing well.

It's all a game of poker now.
Wish the game would hurry the fuck up and be over with.

Worrying times IMO.

This is getting beyond a joke now. Both sides are playing politics while the people that matter are once again stuck in the middle. It's doing my box in.

Not got a problem with him betting on other games but betting against Rangers is simply unacceptable. If I was in charge he would be getting the sack.

Given our resources we should be able to go through the season unbeaten. Plastic pitches and the weather shouldn't be an excuse. Never mind astro turf we should be able to beat every team in that league playing on red ash.

He's been running the SFA from the outside for years anyway. Yesterday was just a so-called "stamp of approval" as far as I'm concerned.

Would have him before either Templeton or Black. Along with Law and Daly, MacLeod would be one of the first names down on my teamsheet.

So these players Ally wanted out, if we don't sell them today [no laughing please], it will be more pay-offs.
Yeah I think your right. Continually pissin money down the drain seems to be the Rangers way.

I was born in 86 so I missed it too. The only thing that compares in our lifetime was the beginning of the Advocaat era.
Even with the Advocaat era though we weren't being linked with the very best players in Europe though. When Souness it must have seemed like everyone was coming. Thank Christ there wasn't any internet back them. Our forums would be going off their nut with transfer rumours.

I wasn't born until 1987 so didn't see any of the Souness revolution but that must have been one of the most exciting times to be a Rangers fan.

I think McClelland would be a good appointment.

Oh goody a convicted fraudster as the club's biggest shareholder.

All this talk is actually hurting my head. A disaster from start to finish.

mattius couldn't handle wee barry in those games. he also had him by the throat at one point.
i have to say barrys columns have been pretty good since they started.
One of our best away performances and we came away with nothing to show for it. We absolutely battered them that night.

Miller did well for us in his second spell but his time has passed. Let's focus on the likes of Daly and Nicky Clark.

I think your selection may well be the closest because when push comes to shove, Faure may suffer from McCoist's JIG syndrome (although Bluedell is right to point out that he was left on the bench v Newcastle) and at the moment McLoed would start ahead of Templeton. But if/when he gets back to full fitness/form I would expect Temps to start because he and Law are the only true match winners we have.
I certainly wouldn't take McLeod out of the team. For me he would be one of the first names down on the teamsheet along with Wallace, Law and Daly.

A total waste of what apparently was a talented player. A young player who thought he had made it but will soon get a culture shock when he is playing part time or junior football.

On his current form I wouldn't have Templeton anywhere near that team. He flatters to deceive far too much.
I would go with:
:rf::jig:
:ap::ib::lm:

Out of the current squad I think quite a few will still be playing with us in two years time when we should be playing top flight football. Think Bell, Foster, Wallace, Moshni, McAusland McLeod, Crawford, Peralta, Law, Clark, Little, Daly, Aird, McKay, Daly and probably McCulloch will still be there.
It will take us at least a couple of years for us to be properly challenging for the title again though IMO

In the games he's played this season he actually hasn't looked too bad but I'd be delighted if we could get rid of him and get someone else in. Would rather see guys like McAusland and Gasparotto given the chance than Cribari.

With the Easdales looking at the finances I expect money to be coming in - whether it's legal or not is another matter.
