  1. Fleck was built up by alot of people to be the next big thing I find it really disheartening that he has never ever really been given a chance. I would love to know why? Perhaps somebody on the forum knows...m

  3. Really believe we had this chance when PLG was in charge and giving guys like Adam a chance. If it meant survival then we should be prepared to take the hit. Survival as Rangers est 1873 is more important than winning the league or qualification for europe. I would dearly love to see a return of the days when the business of Rangers FC was conducted in private and not on the back or front page of some tabloid.
  4. Biggest problem with Buffel was various managers played him out of position. I always saw him as someone who would play just behind the forwards. A position where you don't need to be the biggest or strongest. Yet for some reason he was played on the wing or in the midfield. It was the same with Peter Lovenkrands I saw him as a pacy striker and anytime he played in that position he scored goals upon goals. I recall Rangers playing Inter Milan at Ibrox in 2006 when we qualified from the group stages of the Champons League for the 1st time. Lovenkrands played as the lone striker up front and scored with Buffel just behind him a great performance by Rangers that night all round.
  5. He was my Rangers hero when I was young. I was lucky enough to meet him when I was young and he signed a copy of his book "True Blue" for me :-D a true great of the sport not just for Rangers!
  6. Presumably Craig Whyte knew all about this 10 million hole at the start of the season and I would presume he would've planned on the Champions League filling it and according to Craig Whyte he has "the best" financial advice. Why would he then be giving Whittaker, Davis and McGregor pay increases and new long term contracts at the start of the season when Champions League football wasn't assured (and this season isn't the only time we have fell at this hurdle) you would think he would have waited until the we were safely in the group stages of the Champions League before doing so. He could also have used it as an incentive "Get us in the Champions League and you'll get your pay rise and a new deal" Who knows doing it this way might have spurred us on that bit extra and we would have got to the Champions League Where also was the money going to come from for Goodwillie and as I understand we still owe Hearts for Wallace. What financial advisor is going to say "yeah! go out and accrue another 5 million pounds worth of debt" It seems he just wanted to put us more and more into debt and that administration was always the plan.
  7. Can't understand why Craig Whyte would do this. In the grand scheme of things the shares were essentially worthless. What he has done though is sell a proud piece of Rangers and Arsenals history if it turns out he has.
