I'm not really a fan of PLG, especially after dropping fergie, but I don't think having a go about his pronounciation and language difficulty as a reason for him to leave. I'd be more worried about the fact he made another strange decision today, leaving novo out, and that he took off boyd at an odd time. what we need now is murray to speak publicly on the situation.
-
so, all in all do we know anymore than before the interview?
-
lol, true but not really comparable to rangers!
-
PLG obviously
-
It's just so frustrating cos I really want to like Le Guen, but he keeps making decisions that wind up the fans
-
pretty much sums up my feelings, great post
-
I think it's going to be bad for PLG today, all the fans they've spoken to on Setanta are shocked and pretty much disgusted. There was this one guy who went on a rant about Ferguson being a Rangers man and Le Guen meaning nothing to Rangers and all the fans around him were cheering and shit. sad, sad times.
-
just watching on Setanta, LeGuen got abused by the Gers fans as he got off the bus at Fir Park. gonna be a long day for PLG........ what a situation to be in

care to enlighten us, cammy?
-
spot on, great post

I'm worried about this too, we have a core of good young scots, and if barry was 'the leader of the gang' then it could make for even more trouble.
-
but on the other hand, people may argue that this sort of action is entirely necessary by a captain, especially when the club is in the postion it finds itself at the moment.
-
ok, still don't understand why this is relevent but nevermind
-
I'm not sure that demonstrations are right, or the way forward, but you must understand that people are frustated with what's gong on, and may want to vent that anger? Not everyone can simply sit and watch what's going on, even though if they really sat down and thought about it calmly then protests aren't the way forward - but that won't stop some people.
-
fair enough, but if you feel like that then why bring it up again?
-
well said, most of the people I've talked to feel the same, for a lot of people whatever goodwill they had for le guen after his terrible start has gone following todays events. I hope for his sake the reasons behind it are clear and put him in the right, otherwise I really do think his time will be up....
-
don't think this has a bearing on the decision to strip him of the captaincy
-
that's the fear,I don't know where barry will go if he leaves the gers.
-
spot on
-
and they might aswell get rid of the chairman whilst they're at it....
-
I think murray must have known, pete. I can't imagine a decision of this importance not being run by murray first. but you're right, if bain and murray didn't know then it just makes PLG's decision an evn bigger gamble.
-
have to agree- how can someone who was halfwayout the door and can't hold down a first team place be our new captain? simply doesn't make sense.
-
exactly, we need some good news! not a great start to 2007 though....
-
It's not a case of saying things in the heat of the moment without knowing whats going on, steve. I said in my origional post that the way this can be resolved is by rangers coming out and giving us the facts. I was merely stating an opinion on what I believe might happen as a result of whats happened.
-
watch him start banging in the goals for watford, typical rangers....
