  1. TBK for one could complain to the courts if they really believe they had a better bid turned down, considering they task the administrators with getting the best deal for the creditors. Surprise surprise they nor anyone else have done that.
  2. I'm sorry but why should the players have been treated like sensitive little souls? They've earned plenty from Rangers over the years and most of them have had long injuries during that. I'd have done things no differently to Green TBH, either you want to help the club out or you don't, Wallace and McCulloch clearly do. Naismith and the like will probably claim differently to try and save face but they'd have run a mile from the lower divisions and in the direction of a massive signing on fee even if someone like Walter did take over. I show him loyalty because frankly his treatment is abysmal and undeserved, he's the only one to have put cash up and followed through with any plans, these scottish millionares you mention have fannied about with the idea of buying Rangers only to walk away when they couldn't do it on the cheap. If Green really does turn out to be the evil boogeyman that some predict then fine, i'll have to admit I was wrong again. But there is no hard evidence and no proper alternative, so right now I stand by him.
  3. Unless someone is a big fan of the club (and those bidders that apparently are haven't been willing to put up much cash anyway) then anyone is going to be buying a football club to make money, unless it's like the Man City owners that fancy a play thing. I don't see how that compares to the players situation at all. They would have still got their moves and still got a huge pay packet by tranferring over and letting us get a small fee, greed and self interest took over. Frankly they don't deserve your defence.
  4. He could have begged them and it would have made no difference.
  5. There's clearly plenty of fans willing to give him a shot, and more will revert to doing the same when they finally realise all the alternatives are duds.
  6. That's he's a conman, hopeless or whatever else. You've made your mind up, not giving him a chance at all.
  7. You're one to talk considering your assumptions about our owners.
  8. How silly of him to assume people wanted to stay in their jobs.
  9. And then put in a transfer request. We weren't going to be holding out for unreasonable number of millions, any fee would help our situation.
  10. I bet the other staff were delighted to receive such an email.
  11. No, I think he handled it as well as he could have done and the players are trying to save face with the fans by using him as a reason for leaving. Clearly it's working on you GS.
  12. I'm sure he'd have met them personally in time, doesn't sound like they gave it much of a chance. Why weren't they in Ibrox banging down his or Malcolm Murray's office door if it meant so much to them?
  13. As i've said before, plans are hard to outline without a league to play in. All that was really wanted was them to transfer over and then ask to leave so we could at least get a small transfer fee, they didn't need Green to spell out that senario for them.
  14. If Green didn't want to have to go on bended knee to beg them to honour their contracts then I don't blame him.
  15. Indeed, how dare he only email them, not like there's been a load of other things for him to deal with?
  16. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4404225/Naisy-Why-I-fear-for-Rangers.html#ixzz1zK0dE6CG The Sun again as well.
  17. Least he didn't call a press conference.
  18. Twitter FFS, this just gets better.
  19. Wonder if i'd get backing from the same crowd if I got drunk, declared myself a Rangers man and started ranting about nothing on the Ibrox doorstep?
  20. I consider it to be childish stuff that you if you're going to do it you do it to your enemies, even though there is nothing to say Green, Zeus etc are our enemies. If they're smart enough to hack a website then what's next? Threatening mail to Green's family? This has gone way beyond being vigilant and it pisses me off plenty that they try and speak for all of us while doing it.
  21. Comments about other fans doesn't mean i'm really directing it at this site mate.
  22. But all the cash is in us being a healthy football club.
  23. Dare I ask, what exactly would be the problem with a lease back? Of course we'd rather the club owned the stadium but it's been mentioned to me by several people as a move that could make financial sense ever since we started having problems. Having to rent back the stadium certainly is not killing the club, which seems to be the accusation Green and co keep getting.
  24. They will, what is so bad about that?
  25. I wish him every failure.
