  1. Hope Neil Alexander stays, he's waited so long as second choice now he could be Rangers number 1 for the rest of his career.
  2. Personally I think you're letting them fool you. They'd have run a mile from the lower divisions and in the direction of large signing on fees whoever owned us, but because Green is a bit of an unkown that some fans seem to be struggling to trust it gives them a convenient reason to make it out as anything other than total self interest and desire for cash.
  3. And to try and use every excuse possible.
  4. No, but they need to accept someone for the vacancy. Ibrox alone would make our application the strongest surely? It tends to be decided on club structure and ability to fit into SFL football.
  5. I'm past caring what a record book says, we know our history and no-one can take that away.
  6. Not to mention the 23 years before that.
  7. Playing down David Murray's crimes again I see.
  8. Well sorry but if I see a rat I will call it a rat. Not as if it's racist or sectarian abuse, wouldn't dream of that.
  9. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/rangers/2012/06/23/juanma-ortiz-insists-he-is-on-his-way-back-to-rangers-ahead-of-new-season-86908-23899684/ Has something changed since then? Never heard.
  10. I thought he said he'd be returning to Rangers from his loan as agreed, then ask to leave?
  11. No, which is why I can see him adjusting his wages. Wallace we could get a reasonable fee for, same with Goian, Ortiz and the American boys if they stay.
  12. Not that it matters, i'm grateful to anyone that transfers over because it allows us to get a fee of some kind if they end up wanting to leave.
  13. The contracts remain as they are for now, but our general finances will need to be considered once the Division we play in is confirmed.
  14. Would player redundancies not have saved the other staff anyway?
  15. Lower end of the Championship, League 1 would have been very possible. He did play in the Premiership for Wigan after all.
  16. I know this, but i'm assuming if he's committed to staying then he's willing to adjust his wages for the lower division.
  17. Aye. As I said, of course they deserve a thanks for taking the cuts, but it doesn't go beyond that for me, especially when the decision still suited them in some ways too i.e. meant they could keep playing football, agreements to be sold for cut price deals etc.
  18. You think he's going to be able to stay on 20k a week in the third division?
  19. They might had to live within their means, but it was still bloody brilliant means to live within.
  20. McCulloch could get a better offer than the Scottish Lower Divisions, and that is coming from someone who has never been a fan of his as a player.
  21. What is that meant to mean? I think the negative view of them is in the majority, not claiming to speak for everyone mind you, i'll leave that to Dingwall and his cronies.
  22. If they really struggled to get by with the money they've already earned and were still earning with the reduced wages then i'd gladly apologise, but I so highly doubt it.
  23. I imagine Big Lee feels the same as us about the walk outs, but has too much decency to start slagging them.
  24. Their alternative was to be made redundant and not be able to play football for the rest of the season whether they got a new club or not, after all Wylde never got clearance for Bolton. I'm not saying they didn't deserve a thank you for that but I can't go along with getting teary eyed over it and feeling they made such a huge sacrifice.
  25. I'm sure the cuts didn't leave them struggling to live their lives, as good a gesture as it was. I'll criticise because being a footballer isn't like any other job, it pays an obscene amount of money, loyalty isn't a huge thing to hope for, if they can't show it then fine but don't expect to get anything other than stick. That's a hypothetical type phrase that people use in conversation, you're making something out of nothing there. I dread to think what has been to him by email, along with people that have their minds made up, insist they will not be back with Green in charge and throwing their backing behind John Brown because of a drunken rant on the Ibrox doorstep, it's a joke. I personally am holding fire with the season ticket renewal but that's because we don't have a league to play in yet which isn't Green's fault, as soon as our fixtures in whatever division are confirmed i'll be getting it sent. You're not doing your argument favours by coming out with totally wild and unproven conspiracies, that's the kind of treatment I mean, talking like he's some cartoon villain that will throw a sack of our money over his shoulder and head for the hills at midnight. I just want to support my club, Rangers are Rangers whether Green or whoever owns them. The constant bids to derail our recovery because there's not a 'Rangers man' in charge is doing more harm than good.
