  1. Yes, yes I do. This is purely a career decision, and Naismith is being a weasel trying to make it out as anything else.
  2. I hope if he does stay no-one points to his age etc. Yes he wouldn't have to fight off offers if he left but someone with his caps, Premiership and CL experience could still get a better offer than SFL3.
  3. The only warning that comes out of it is that basically no player can be trusted.
  4. Lets get a league to play in first.
  5. What is he meant to know that we don't? This isn't a business or technical issue. For all I know the record books will insist on the 'no history' stuff, but it's up to the fans to not accept that.
  6. Throwing in stuff about new club, no history, Green etc, you don't think he was trying to create as many other reasons as possible?
  7. I don't, I struggle to see why any fan thinks a company is so important.
  8. His so-called boyhood fan status clearly played a big part, Naismith didn't get going that quickly. He's arrived at these 'views' because he doesn't have the guts to simply say he doesn't want to play in the Scottish Lower Leagues and wants to keep a high wage.
  9. Naismith could have said he wants to leave because Rangers will be at a lower level for a while and he considers himself to be heading for his prime. At the same time he could have also emphasised "Rangers continue as they always have done, the fans will be the same, the club will be the same and I will continue to support the same club I did as a boy as they aim to get back to the top." That really is about all I wanted.
  10. I don't care, we stuck by him when he was injured for about two years, fans took him to their hearts, fans paid is wages. He's repaid by telling us our club is dead.
  11. I'm assuming you're on the side of 'new club, no history' then?
  12. I have no interest in pacifying people without any stomach for a fight.
  13. He is now, yes. Only our enemies are pushing the 'new club', 'no history' rubbish, and he has joined them.
  14. Then they're our enemies as well now. Club will only die if the fans give up.
  15. Care to address why he's said our club is dead then?
  16. Don't forget Whittaker playing a huge part of costing the club millions in CL money, money we could have done with more than ever.
  17. Of course, I think I say fairly clearly the anger isn't really about the decision to leave. They are out for themselves, greedy etc but I think they should at least be expected to show supporters some respect.
  18. Even if he claims it you seriously saying it's true? He wants to further his career and keep a very large wage packet, nothing else, and I wouldn't even have an issue if they were honest.
  19. Again, am I taking issue with him leaving? Saying the club is dead is unforgiveable however, we have enough of that from enemies.
  20. You would have been well remembered and wished luck by pretty much everyone regardless of your decisions, but that statement changes everything. Just another footballer that doesn't care or have any respect for the fans.
  21. The revenue told them they would consider it, not their fault as that's probably policy as well, but them being overly optimistic isn't a big deal to me, CVA had to be tried. The courts had to approve their appointment, so they can't have felt there was anything wrong and didn't HMRC eventually withdraw their application? Whyte feeling he was better off appointing administrators rather than the revenue doesn't mean they're best pals or anything.
  22. Guess I was hoping for gunsligner, casey or someone that is on RM to pick up on it. As it goes I still don't think there's any conspiracy or that they've actually done us any harm (Murray and Whyte did all the damage) but their competence does look a bit doubtful.
  23. If you go on RM at all i'm known as a staunch Duff and Phelps backer.
  24. I'm starting to wonder if Duff and Phelps are all they're made out to be...
  25. Hmm, can't even be sure of keeping youngsters then?
