  1. Can't really answer that, Whyte was never going to be able to come back from administration.
  2. Season tickets are vital for any club. I haven't actually sent my renewal form back yet but I will, and I certainly consider it too big a thing to hold to ransom.
  3. It was about Ticketus, the C&B case goes back to the club being mislead on where those funds to pay the bank debt came from.
  4. BBC in getting it wrong shocker.
  5. This sounds fairly routine, media bigging stuff up as usual.
  6. As I said, why wait two weeks for the inevitable?
  7. How could that be true when the assets have been purchased?
  8. There would be as soon as we withdrew our application for the SPL share to get transferred.
  9. Several clubs are all but revealing their vote via the media and 'statements', they can't give anyone responsibility but themselves.
  10. No point in waiting for this vote, apply for the third division now.
  11. I've no idea what i'd even be holding out for. Plenty are clearly not going to be satisfied by Green unless he invites them to actually join the consortium.
  12. Holding ST money to ransom is not however.
  13. FF like to play games with money that is to help the club.
  14. I've done it for years, i'm fortunate enough to afford it, I see no reason to stop. Holding season ticket money to ransom just isn't for me.
  15. Well you probably know I believe Whyte just completed the closing stages of Murray's destruction so I obviously don't agree about that making a difference to how we find ourselves, different topic mind. Fan power is limited, especially without any fan ownership or share issues involved at all. Anybody could be a con men, even the Blue Knights or the people involved in this Walter consortium could be even though certain groups believe they should be trusted unconditionally. It's not that I trust the current owners as such, but i'm not prepared to assume the worst and risk holding back season ticket money without any smoking guns.
  16. Said it a few times, but people expect too much information.
  17. Ticketus said yes then.
  18. Anyone but TBK, dear lord. The point is that people being 'Rangers men' gives them no divine right when it comes to bids getting accepted. If they cash isn't put up they're as bad as any other failed bidder, however nice and secure it would be to have them running us.
  19. I assume we won't be told to boycott for these ones then?
  20. Well i'm clear on that one, will get a ST whatever the division. As I say, i'm not blaming them for not wanting to put fortunes into a football club even if they support it. I just wish if they aren't going to be throwing a lot of money at it then they could do things quietly rather than release statements, do press conferences and use former mangers as fronts that get some fans ejaculating and cause resentment towards other bidders that aren't 'Rangers men'.
  21. I understand all that. But it makes it all the more pathetic that RST and the likes were suggesting boycotts and arranging protests in support of guys like this when clearly their heart wasn't in it that much.
  22. Well, it's why i'll be taking this with a pinch of salt.
  23. Frankly I don't see why Green wouldn't be in a big hurray to sell even for a small profit if things were that difficult.
  24. Why is this latest stuff being talked about as fact? Sounds like a forum rumour so far.
  25. There could still be profit made in the long term with the third division assuming we can get promoted up to the top pretty quickly, from what I gather Green's consortium are in no huge hurray and unlikely to make panic sales. There's no getting away from the fact that very rich men who claim to be fans have been unwilling to put up much cash. Now I don't blame them for that as such because they've worked hard to get where they are, football club is a difficult business etc, but it makes it even more cringeworthy that the RST and the like have tried to start boycotts, protests etc in favour of them.
