We're not great but that shouldn't be a reason for ignoring corrupt refereeing. Are we only allowed to highlight it when we play well?

The sequence of events before and after the johnston handball penalty incident between the match referee & VAR referee needs investigated.
It was deeply suspicious that offside was brought up in the second half commentary nearly 30 minutes after the  incident. My understanding is SKY have access to communications between the match referee & VAR referee during the game. W as it mentioned at the time?

And is offside applicable here in any case? Does it not only apply with VAR for goals only?

Doesn’t SKY get access to this during the game? Surely we’d know if offside was mentioned in communication between the match referee & the VAR referee at the time of the penalty incident .
But offside is irrelevant in this instance as it’s only for goals with VAR. It was definitely suspicious that this got brought up during the second half of the  game 30 minutes after the incident. Someone (?) at the SFA communicated this to SKY. Who?

  3. As I see it the incidents today which went against us were:-

    1) penalty for handball against johnston not given. Clear & obvious error. Offside only used for goal instances.

rangers request VAR audio to see if offside gets mentioned

    2) Both Alistair johnston & Paolo Bernardo should have been red carded for  two yellows

    3) I also believe that at the Dessers miss in the first half he is brought down in the penalty box. Johnston doesn’t get a touch on the ball

    4) some suggestions at their first goal the ball went out of play when the corner was taken

What other clubs? We had a higher turnover and wage bill than PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord just last year. We have a higher wage budget than Celtic. We dwarf the budgets of both Prague clubs and the likes of Malmo and many Ligue 1, Serie A and La Liga clubs. We have a higher wage bill and higher turnover than Copenhagen. We have a higher turnover than far more clubs than you think and a bigger wage budget too so not sure what point you are trying to make. Reads like you're trying to plead poverty and justify us signing more shite from the MLS and weans from Holland who haven't broke into the first team properly yet? Both CVs are crap. The German is a signing i'd expect Aberdeen or Hibs to make and the young Dutchman is a player i'd expect to be loaned out to a Plymouth Argyle or Sunderland. At last check we were in the top 20 for average home attendances in the world. We aren't Hearts, we aren't St Johnstone, we aren't even just out of admin anymore. We are Rangers Football Club turning over the most amount of money the club has ever turned over in our entire history carrying the highest ever wage bill we have ever had.

We are Rangers. And we are richer and bigger than you think we are.

Our biggest problem in my opinion is successful signings(the major ones). Too many flop or don’t live upto expectations.

I still think we’re well behind other clubs in that department including our chums from the east end

Note former EPL referee and Celtic fan Dermot Gallagher on Sky Sports bemoaning Motherwell not getting a pen against us claiming we "got lucky". Placemen we could only ever dream of.

Did they show Gallagher the handball ?

    I suspect not

Celtics sole aim right now is becoming Scotlands Premier club. The countries most successful. They are 2 trophies behind. They won't be pushing anything until they've over took our trophy count. Once they've done that, they will be gone.

    Gone where?🤓

It's Celtic who have the friends at the top of the game, not us.

They’ve rejected the ESL proposal. Also have Man City &  several top European clubs including Dortmund & Feyenoord.

Rangers should sit tight & say nothing for the time being. Wait & see how this pans out. We should not dismiss anything that gets us out off the SPFL and into a better league

Not for me. I think we persist with McCausland, he is doing well and will improve with more game time.

    Correct.

MacCausland must be given his chance.

So far the signs look good.

I thought he did well yesterday when he came on. A couple of times he was waiting for a pass & was the through on goal but didn’t get it. Perhaps he’s not vocal enough yet. All part of his learning process
