  1. the media are in love with ally and will dare not criticise him because they are delighted with his work, us being shite makes them happy. the more useless the rangers manager is the happier this hate filled media become.
  2. we better not mate.
  3. no chance rab.
  4. you wouldnt think so mate. not sure where the villa comparison cropped up anyway, it cant really be compared to our situation. they are nothing alike. we dont have a strong manager, we dont bench experienced players, we dont have a team full of kids. why were villa brought up? lol
  5. strong management and a belief and trust in youth.
  6. wilson himself said last year he wouldnt goto celtic. was in the record.
  7. gazza, warnock has left villa, n'zogbia has been long term injured, ireland has been very much in and out of the team and bent cant get a game. villa do have a very young and inexperienced first 11. it was a hot topic on motd a few weeks back and the pundits went through the whole team and how young it was saying how they badly needed more experience in the team.
  8. i think it is more about getting our brand and name out there. celtics shop at the airport makes a loss but they deem it necessary for the brand.
  9. games against sfl3 teams is no meter to judge a rangers manager with such resources. the damage is done, there can be only one outcome.
  10. we will most likely win 99% of those matches but that doesnt mean ally should stay. the next few months is not a test. the damage was done long ago.
  11. spot on gs. times up for super.
  12. brilliant news about the airport shops. delighted about this in fact.
  13. if the topic is still relevant at the time of debate and it just so happens to be negative then it means there are issues. ignoring them and forgetting about them does no one any good. these issues need tackled head on without shirking out of it. if someone doesnt like the opinions, facts or whatever then they dont need to read on or take part in the debate. one or two people said at the start of the season we would be talking about the exact same issues 6 months down the line as they were that day and they were right, because it is still very applicable. fans with concerns are not making them up.
  14. i dont believe it does. we have had several humiliating defeats since ally took over and incredibly he is still in charge. there has been absolutely zero progression as a football team in almost 2 years and the management team are still here. several first team stars have let the fans, club and manager down so many times this year and are still guaranteed their game. every player has a price at any time of the year mate. guys like mcgregor and boyd would not have commanded much of a fee. the lad easton from berwick was available for free. we had plenty time to sign suitable signings but we didnt plan anything and we didnt scout anyone. our transfer dealings under neil murray and ally mcoist have been nothing short of appalling. the sfa gave us a life line in the summer, a window to sort ourselves out until we could sign again, we made a complete arse of that chance.
  15. not sure why when it is relevant to just about every subject. the matter cannot be swept aside or ignored. its a huge talking point.
  16. and quite a few more mate.
  17. that pressure doesnt exist anymore and the overall expectations apparently according to some is to win promotion from a part time league, that is it. standards, ambition, expectations went out the window the day after our exit to malmo and the manager kept his job. that was when losing became acceptable at rangers and standards have declined again since then. well both speak english and both can head a ball and have experience of playing first team football in scotland so right away they are more suitable than perry, faure, cribari and anyone else we have tried at centre half!
  18. a fantastic reply and just about every word spot on. i have also questioned greens attitude when it comes to keeping someone so far out their depth in a job. if he really cared, ally and his pals would be gone.
  19. inverness were a good team as well back then and playing well in the league. utd were in crisis, just lost a manager, struggling in the league and hadnt won at home for 6 or 7 months. we made them look like f*cking barcelona!
  20. more on that needs to come out.
  21. i firmly believe yesterday should see the end to a few rangers careers. i honestly do. several of those players should be replaced with kids for the rest of the season and told to find new clubs asap. in recent years the lack of atmosphere has been a problem for us at ibrox, its no longer hostile, so i take your point about that part of it.
  22. and in the dug out.
  23. the lad who was throwing himself in front of balls like john terry?
  24. we had the tools to do it but the players and the manager bottled it. i said yesterday i was so excited and so confident pre match until i seen the line up then my heart sunk. ally had made the same mistakes he has been making for the last 18 months. i didnt feel sorry for the players because despite allys non footballing ethos they didnt bother trying a leg, perhaps it was because they had no fans to back them or more likely it was because they have been getting away with not trying a leg every week since they joined. life is too easy at rangers for players, there are no longer any standards, no expectations, no requirements anymore. they can turn up, do what they like, play how they like and go home minted without a care in the world. i have to agree financially the boycott was a failure, as it was with hundreds of our fans there. the boycott was a big fat failure. but i dont think the result would have been different knowing the way the team was set out.
  25. we had many disagreements last week stb. fwiw i agree with you on just about everything, except mr green!
