  1. well tell me where i am wrong mate. embrace the challenge, absolutely. whos to say it would change? it would be a feeding frenzy, especially with the set up the way it is just now. i think the epl is a wee bit out of allys league. this is what i am talking about. you think we could head down there and keep him in charge? we would be relegated by xmas. not that we could or should walk right into the epl. we should be showing more ambition but constantly looking at running away from our home is not my sort of ambition. to me it looks like we just want to chase the money and just be in it for the sake of it. thats not what i am saying at all though celtic are allegedly trying their hardest to get down there without us.
  2. potential maybe, but how long would it take us to catch them up right away? they already have a squad, a scouting network, friends, a huge stadium, a half decent coaching team, all of which we dont. they are nowhere near the gfitw, they are glory hunting terrorist sympathising scumbags. not a myth, a fact. not about being scared, this is very much about being realistic. i believe there are many epl clubs shit scared of both of us going south but i believe it would be easier for them to integrate into any set up down there than us. their club overall is just more settled and more geared towards showing ambition much more so than ours.
  3. are hugh adam, Capita Consulting, The Sunday Times, Hector Zelaya, Sports Revolution, and *kibera celtic all in on the lies too mate? *http://kiberaceltic.ning.com/
  4. i can respect good footballers, even those at celtic. larsson and nakamura etc but sh*te like brown and mulgrew playing for scotland and mcghee coaching, no, im not supporting that.
  5. cribari will most likely be on more than the spl4, alexander and wallace as well. i think he is our second highest earner at the club right now after jig. boca and goians combined 37k per week dont count this year but will in the summer.
  6. he said he will ask the fans, if fans want to go back to the top and play in europe we will need to go back tp the spl if it doesnt change, he said he will leave.
  7. copy and pasted pal. who? if you are so concerned take your queries to Sports Revolution and Capita Consulting and question their figures.

i dont think we can afford another novice(ex players named above). another managerial failure will see us lose even more time in attempting to get back to the top.

    like a wet willy?
  10. yep. murray thought it more important to promote his personal chef to ceo and completely neglect prospective new fans when celtic went for proper businessmen with real ambition. murray also thought it wiser to spend tens of millions on a foreign manager whilst celtic spent money on their future building the biggest club stadium in the country.
  11. absolute rubbish. scotland is one of the most important and the most famous nation on the planet. Celtic has developed a fanbase in a number of countries around the world, including Japan since 2005, when Japanese international Shunsuke Nakamura joined the club. In 2009, marketing agency, Sports Revolution reported that there were an estimated seven million Celtic supporters in Japan alone. There are Celtic supporters clubs in South Korea, Sweden, Denmark and Norway while the club's profile in Kenya has been boosted by a team in Nairobi. Kibera Celtic, who were inspired by Celtic's charitable roots and use the profits from football to fund charitable initiatives in Kenya and throughout Africa. After the signing of Emilio Izaguirre in 2010, Hector Zelaya, the general manager of Izaguirre's former club Motagua, said that Izaguirre had sparked "Celtic mania" in Honduras and that many people now supported them. In 2003 it was estimated that Celtic had a fanbase of one million in the United States and Canada. In 2002, former Rangers F.C. director Hugh Adam claimed that Celtic were "the best-supported football club in North America" and that the club's "Irish connection" was a determinant factor in their popularity. In 2004, The Sunday Times, when commentating on several European teams who were touring in the U.S at the time, stated that clubs such as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United attracted support in the United States only when touring the country. In contrast, Celtic were said to "have such a strong pre-existing relationship with a huge expatriate following here that their support will endure." There are over 60 Celtic supporters clubs in North America and nearly half of all U.S states have a Celtic supporters club. Celtic have developed supporters clubs in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere Then there is this http://www.scotsman.com/business/media-and-leisure/celtic-to-launch-credit-card-for-us-fans-1-1291697 Recent research by Capita Consulting in conjunction with Cranfield Institute revealed that the club had a worldwide fan base of nine million, of which one million were in the US and Canada. You were saying mate?
  12. i agree about slashing wages, we should have but mccoist and green honestly thought we could do damage in the cups. we cant just free high earners, they need to accept pay offs or be sold. no one wants a lee mcculloch or a neil alexander on the wages we pay them. we were stuck with them. adding to them is the problem. why not get as many season book holders? fans wanted to buy into our youth policy and watching our kids become footballers, we have done for years. we dont want to see mercenaries who cant kick their own arses. i believe we would have got as many season ticket holders had we told the support we were going with youth but as usual, rangers, we were full of moonbeams. signing spl players here, beating spl clubs there to this player and that player. we want a domestic cup. all the rest of it. 3 cups, to compete at the very business end of them, in scotland, with more money to spend on better players than every other club in the country with one exception, not ambitious at all, more an expectation i would say given our lavish resources compared to everyone else.
  13. i cant support scotland, far too many celtic people in and around the national set up. a disproportionate amount actually.
  14. some of us were watching mate.
  15. are you for real? it was never going to be the spl. we knew it was the 3rd division all along for anyone to expect or think otherwise is just wrong. i am not talking about mcculloch, boca, goian, wallace and alexander. we kept the ones worth nothing, wallace aside and all the valuable assets walked for nothing. i have already said more than once the wage budget was allowed so we could compete for the 3 domestic cups as well as the league. look how that turned out eh!
  16. him and ally said they wanted to win a domestic cup that was why we shelled out so much in wages. those expectations slowly got lower with every cup exit, now it seems winning the league, which was a guarantee from the start, is good enough.
  17. what hours do our players train at auchenhowie? why has our training ground not yet been renamed? why are our players playing like they dont care? why cant our players string 2 passes together? why is our dead ball ability no better than a primary 1 pupils? why are we paying ian black £7k a week? what are neil murrays credentials for being suitable for such an important position? why is our youth set up such a mess? can you explain why we are heading for a financial loss this year? do we need to sacrifice our tv share again for next year? what does ian durrant actually do? why is ally still in a job? where have our standards gone? i can go on if you like?

    no. dreadful manager.
  19. its embarassing, all this please take us england, someone, anyone take us, please. its pathetic.
  20. then why dont we pay 3rd division wages then? you cant just say we are paying players 5,6, 7, 10 grand a week through circumstance for goodness sake! green allowed ally such a high wage budget so he could compete with spl teams when we met them.
  21. what sort of pathetic accusation is that from a mod, sorry super mod? quite the opposite in fact anyway, should we both go south we would never again be able to live with or compete with celtic. they have the potential to become the new man utd and we could realistically become the next leeds utd. we would get lost down there, we are not as big as we like to think, we have no influential power in the game, our club has a mediocre amateur footballing style, we dont have a scouting network, we dont have good coaches, we dont even have a good manager. celtic are built and ready to play at a higher level, we are not. der berliner also made a very valid point. imagine ally getting any more money than he has already had or worse still was allowed to stay in a job? :( we would be in league 2 before you could say, "can we go back to scotland please mister!"
  22. i honestly wish we would stop with this running away nonsense.
  23. as long as super is in charge people will fall over themselves to find excuses to pardon his ineptness.
  24. gutted with this. young matt was one i wanted to see break through.
  25. so you never believed bomber then?
