surely not? surely bloody not? serious question.

anyone who knows anything about football will have heard of most of if not all of that team, where they are now says more about scottish society than any individual youth set up tbh. last nights scotland steam should have consisted of the best players currently playing professionally, which it probably was, why should it be restricted to a certain age group? the entire squad last night probably represented the country at youth level anyhow just at a different point in time from the one who chose to pick out.

i thought he was being sarcastic.

yes and i know who we are going to play against craig. this is the easiest part of the season. no more matches against spl teams, no cup distractions, our players all know each others game now, the team and players are settled into their stride(no laughing) and we have all had a chance to find our feet in this league. we are going to play against part time players, most of whom cannot kick their own backsides. if he is going to drop any more points this season then he must walk after doing so. as i say, the damage is done and its only a matter of finding a suitable replacement now for next season.

we wont lose another match this season.

nothing we dont already know mate.

comeofit should go on gersnets behalf. its about time green was asked some real questions.
-
the damage is done, winning our next 14 matches which we most likely will, will tell us nothing new. this is the easiest part of the season coming up.

so fans will pay for them then.

Scotland V Estonia - Strachan first match
kuznetsov replied to Gribz's topic in General Football Chat
adam is a dundee fan. greegs a jambo, burke a tim. webster a dundee utd fan, wallace a jambo, miller a hibee, only hutton and naismith can claim to be boyhood rangers supporters there and sadly one of them is now a dirty traitor. mccall gets out voted by celtic daft mark mcghee and former celtic manager chesney. captained by scott brown too. -

Lewis McLeod was named in the original squad but had to withdraw but i agree,1 (2) players out of 40 named is a shocking statistic and is a reflection of the current set-up. Even more worrying was the recent U16 squad which contained only 2 Rangers but 9 Celtic players. Elfideldos recent posts regarding both game time & players requesting moves away should have set alarm bells ringing higher up in the club. I have been saying this for a while, despite a few players playing in the third division this season. Our standard of player has fell behind Celtic, Hearts and now Aberdeen. I've not just said, I have presented evidence in how we have failed. The players we have paid fee for and released without getting a youth contract, which is around a DOZEN under the current regime. The players that been released and then progressed to Scotland youth squads with their new clubs, current count is around TEN. An the latest is the lack of competitive game time for out 17-19 year olds, who don't know from week to week where their next (bounce) game is !! Ironically we do have a decent batch of 16 & 17 year olds but a lack of competitive football must be hindering their development. This is causing great frustration and some have asked to be released, just heard that one such request has been granted. I'll watch with interest where he goes now and how he progresses. Kenwyne Jones played centre half in the game he played at Murray Park, with another two from Trinidad a goalkeeper and can't quite remember the other. Rangers were interested in signing Jones but couldn't agree a fee with his club. But he definately played in centre of defence. I certainly know they want Charlie Telfer, but look at it from his perspective. What games will he play in between now and May ? What competition will he play in next season if he stays ? A bit of positive late news Rangers Will play in Reserve League Cup. This wasn't on the SFL website a couple of days ago. Time will tell if the 18-20 age group will get much game time in this competition. Fixtures not on the Rangers website yet. RESERVE LEAGUE CUP - SEASON 2012/13 Fixtures will start week commencing Monday, 11th February, 2013. East Section – This section will consist of five clubs each playing their respective opponents twice, (giving each club a total of eight matches), resulting in each club having two free weeks. Thereafter, the top two clubs in this section will proceed to the Semi-Finals which will be played over one leg with the winner of each Semi-Final tie contesting the Final, again over one leg. West Section - This section will consist of eight clubs each playing their respective opponents once, (giving each club a total of seven matches). Thereafter, the top two clubs in this section will proceed to the Semi-Finals which will be played over one leg with the winner of each Semi-Final tie contesting the Final, again over one leg. Semi-Finals Winner of East Section v Runner-up of West Section Winner of West Section v Runner-up of East Section These matches are scheduled to take place w/c Monday, 22nd April, 2013. Final – This match is scheduled to take place on Monday, 29th April, 2013 and the Draw to determine the home club will be made in due course. EAST SECTION Cowdenbeath East Fife Livingston Raith Rovers Stenhousemuir WEST SECTION Airdrie United Annan Athletic Ayr United Morton Partick Thistle Queen of the South Queen's Park Rangers There was an SFL under 19 league, Rangers didn't enter it. Like the Reserve League it consisted og 14 teams playing each other once. Queen's Park won it with only Airdrie providing a challenge, Livingston who have been decent at this level in recent years didn't enter either. Overall standard wouldn't have been great but we could have fielded a younger team U18 for example. There is an SFL U19 League Cup which starts soon, we didn't enter that either. It has a similar format to the Reserve League Cup. Hamilton Accies have entered and they should be one of the favourites with QP & Airdrie. Mcgregor, Hutton, Adam and Burke were all a very long time before the current system. Unfortunately the system that produced these players was dismantled long ago. Scotland U21's and U19's were also playing tonight, that is a more accurate reflection of where we are now. Over the two squads we have ONE representative in Barrie McKay. A player that never came through our system but came through Kilmarnock's. The squads include three players who were at Rangers and were released by the current regime, Murray Wallace (Huddersfield), Mark O'Hara (Kilmarnock) and Darren Petrie (Dundee United). This is regular feature of Scotland squads at youth level. No doubt someone will tell us its an SFA vendetta. Over these two squads Celtic, Hearts, Dundee United, Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle are better represented. a few different posts by jcb and elfideldo on rm. very worrying indeed.

i am sure i didnt say it was better, the size is the issue., we may have higher ave attendances right now but our tickets are £16, theirs are almost £30. understandable of course given our respective levels atm. they also had average attendances for a full decade of around 58000. the financial gulf began to show during this time and it only grew. their management team have been tested more than ours i would say.
-
lol company, club, does it matter? its been made a rangers issue.
-
lets not play comical ali here, green has made this a club issue even though it shouldnt be.
