  1. think liewell's meeing was simply invoking clause in contract making them fulfill a season without OF games. SKY can't be happy with this season's SPL viewing figures & the prospect of conflict with CG over refusal to sign next season's contract. In short SKY are a subscription service and will put anything on which attracts most viewers. If that means no SPL that won't bother them. They've walked away before and would do again. i cant see them walking away mate. celtic seem to hold so much power over everyone just now.
  2. apparently so mate and badly misrepresented by celtic minded agents when he left rangers too.
  3. current staff/pundits. too may to name. liewells meeting last year with them. re tv deal. the love in with celtic on ssn. lennon in their studio after victories. constant references to and sympathies towards celtic on soccer am. transfer deadline days spent at celtic park. pre season visits to lennoxtown by sky cameras.
  4. all this hard work we are doing to get into england is almost doing the dirty work for celtic. they are not going to just sit and watch us leave to head south.
  5. i believe they have more friends at sky than we do too.
  6. pacey? didnt his lack of pace cause his red card against st mirren(or am i thinking of someone else)? i didnt say i dont want him back i just said i thought he was over rated which he undoubtedly was. i dont know how you can say with any certainty that he is better than those two when you havnt seen him play for what, 3 years? or do you think they two are just that bad?
  7. i find it incredibly hard to believe he is on anything like 20 grand a week. he was allegedly only on 3 at rangers and refused 5 to go to liverpool, they wouldnt have had to offer him anymore than 7 - 10 a week surely. the two memories i have of him are getting rag dolled by st mirren and celtic. i thought he was over rated tbh. i will be surprised if hearts are paying much if any of his wages either.
  8. our people dont care these days rab, we let them take over our game and our country and now moan when they conspire against us.
  9. nigel adkins now favourite
  10. scottish national team is completely seperate form the countries league where we belong. confused.com indeed.
  11. the scotland national team from seniors to youths are riddled with scum. poisoned beyond repair. forgive me for not wanting to support guys like mulgrew, brown, forrest, watt, caldwell, maloney etc etc.
  12. the tangled sectarian web of corruption continues.
  13. you have a point there mate. like i said above, tannadice is going to be a nice wee test for our players. months after the inverness match against an inferior team than caley and with ours more gelled and more fluent.
  14. tannadice is going to be tasty mate.
  15. i am not sure he is tbh. he is a liability. a complete bombscare. perry deserves a chance to establish himself and cribari has settled very well looking quite accomplished.
  16. haha playing comical ali are we? we were around £80m in debt under dick advocaat which led to years of constant downsizing, mediocre signings and the selling our our clubs shops then we were around £33m in debt under walter, which actually led to an outside party taking over our club for crying out loud, but yeah, what debt? haha as i said, i wasnt even talking about the recent debt under whyte. do not compare us with the worlds richest and biggest club for god sake. it weakens your argument no end. it is a ridiculous comparison. it wasnt a european cup final, it was a uefa cup final, the trophy we called the thursday cup when celtic were in seville. and it was done with a squad our club simply could not afford. good transfer policy? no. good balancing of the books? no. our debt rose in that year where we posted our highest ever turnover! i have no idea what that even means. "But tell me, where would "have things gone not-so-bad"? to seperate the transfer activity of a football club from the business side of a football club is utter stupidity given that money is what makes the transfer world go round and money is what business is all about! our opinions differ, i trust and believe in my honesty, you trust whatever it is that you do. so ist das leben! you also finish with one more ridiculous comparison comparing the expectations and standards of a st mirren and hibs fans to that of a rangers fan! unglaublich
  17. green will panic if the big man comes back onto the wage bill. i doubt he will play for us again.
  18. yes, signed by the youth academy for our youth team.
  19. it does on this occassion. hatred? lol we were doing 10 years but, yeah, lets just look at allys. wallace - success, cracking player and a profit will be made on him should he move on. bocanegra - success, played well, settled well, no resale value but a good short term fix. goian - failure. started decent, fell away and ended up a liability only to be loaned out due to his ridiculous salary. no resale value. bedoya - out and out failure. waste of time signing and a complete waste of money. made a huge loss on him. ortiz - never settled and was mediocre in his play. was then made a scapegoat by fans. shipped back out in record time. no resale value and no profit made. m mckay - out and out failure. yet another complete waste of time and money. australias player of the year treated like a fool by our manager. aluko - storming success. i loved him watching him. possibly the most skillful player to player for rangers since ronald de boer? a joy to watch. a sore one to lose. should have made millions on him but due to our financial state we are still fighting for compensation. celik - another failure. waste of time, waste of money and all in all, a pointless signing. ended up parting ways. no profit for a supposed hot prospect. black - failure. 7 grand a week for 3rd tier football, offers the team nothing, has become a liability and is struggling big time. possible resale value. shiels - on the fence here. i like him, i do but i think he has struggled somewhat. not a success and not a failure but another on huge money. possible resale value. sandaza - failure. 1 goal all season. looks lost, off the pace, disinterested and all round mediocre. so far, a complete waste of 5 grand a week. possible resale value. cribari - success. i like the big man, i think he has settled well and will only get better. no resale value but a decent short term fix. k kyle - failure. waste of time and a waste of money. if he cant stay fit he is no use to us, if he cant contribute he is no use. no resale value. faure - failure. has looked dreadful so far. lacks the basics and for a lad coming with such reputation. may turn it around but i doubt it. cant see us making a profit on him. argyriou - failure. shocking player. there are better full backs in division 2 and 3, scottish lads who would run through brick walls to play for us and command a fraction of argyrious salary. doubt we will make a profit on him. templeton - success. the boy is a class act. oozes class and skill but has almost got complacent recently. needs a wee word in the ear to keep his feet on the ground. huge resale value. stella - failure. another waste of time and money whatever little amount it was. given away for free. b mckay was signed by the youth academy for our youth team. that bold bit after your list is funny. so all in all, 17 signings for our first team squad, only 5 a success, 1 not sure and 11 duds. an horrendous record. we cannot afford it. the money we are shelling out on wages for this level as well makes it even worse. i will ignore the bottom stuff about miracles and the like, that is just claptrap rubbish.
  20. haha, i cringed when i read the word miracle.
  21. i will deal with that piece of deluded nonsense when i get home from work. it rarely gets more ridiculous.
  22. its amazing what a few months of watching our strikers have done to our fans!
  23. can he not play for forest now though? we cant use the trialist system mate.
  24. obviously, only a fool would say no to him in our current state. i doubt he would hold off until september to sign for us. he will probably end up at nottm forest with eck.
  25. oops my mistake, i wasnt even talking about that debt. that is a third one! cheers. replace oddest with "most honest". that is being kind, we can go through them if you want? one by one. from ortiz to stella. it isnt good reading though.
