their recent away record is not as bad as we make out. in the last 2 years, this celtic team which the bigot is building, they have played 9 matches away from home, they have won 3 of them, drawing twice and losing 4. it is night and day compared to our record. their 4 defeats came against very very good opposition too. their whole approach to continental football is different craig. from the way they play to the way the club is perceived. they seem to relish it and feel like they belong there. we tend to fear it and treat it like a bonus. i have no idea why, during the periods we are talking about, we had the better team and better players imo. any scottish club reaching the last 16 is an outstanding acheivement. it would be ridiculous to claim otherwise, doesnt matter how easy their group was and it was easy. they still had to do it. no, i included braga. bratislava was many moons ago(60 european ties ago), how far back do you want to go? well we can look at our respective records since 08/09, or to make it more bias in our favour, lets include the manchester year too, so from 07/08. we have played 41 game and won 8, they have played 48 since then and won 17. we only managed 30 goals, they scored 52. even including our run to the final, it still doesnt compare. the last bit in bold is incredibly biased verging on bitter.
