A better example of a 'shank' there never will be. Brilliant word.
it was an almost exact replica of a miss of mine from my playing days (Belnorth vs the mighty Lanyon, ACT div1). I still wake up screaming

Alfredo to the rescue (after shanking an easier one over the bar a second earlier)

Meh... it's just a wee setback; we're dominating.
Docherty looks like he has good feet. Is he playing on the right?
Murphy looks lively.
hope you're right. The pitch looks a leveller, as they used to say on MOTD

For the love of fuck, Wes!
Time to start taking this game a bit seriously

David Ngog, who just came on for County - did he not used to play for Liverpool and Newcastle?
Windass needs to be more decisive.
Bolton, wasn't it?

Until we get our finances in better shape, we'd do well to concentrate more on our academy and try to bring through youngsters. The good players get hoovered up at an increasingly younger age and we'll get the relative dregs of that market.
If you go for guys like Sean Goss, all the past evidence of this type of deal points to a very poor success-rate. If there is a first team opportunity, better to look to play the likes of Barjonas.
The other important part is once we have a player, is to improve him and add value. Over many years, we have failed miserably in this regard and generally reduced value (tbf it is more difficult in the era of Bosman).
Lewis Morgan (topical) and Billy Gilmour both illustrate different angles of the costly mistakes and harsh financial reality that make it more difficult.
it'll end up being a mixture, or ought to. no youth system is going to provide a steady, consistent conveyor belt of players for each position on demand.
agree with the rest.

Murphy is potentially a very good signing and exactly what we needed for the left side of our attack.
Ok, some fans may have preferred Morgan from St Mirren but Murphy is more proven and at a supposed £800K represents good value as he reaches the peak of his career.
Morgan perhaps one for the future and, if we've to make a choice, I guess we need somebody in now. Moreover, Murphy wants to be at Ibrox and it's not clear Morgan does.
Brighton are my English team and I see a reasonable amount of them. He's not really had a sniff in the EPL but was a solid performer in the championship, usually deployed as an impact sub. Might not sound great but other former Brighton squad players have been playing in the EPL regularly at Burnley and Bournemouth. Brighton have just spanked a pot of cash on a Colombian international for that position and already had two of their more important players (Knockaert and March) playing wide. So not that surprising he's not getting much of a run right now.

I have not got round to signing up yet Oleg. I usually listen at the gym or on way to games etc. What’s your thoughts on the extra content?
I’d definitely recommend signing up. I signed up largely because I was happy to support the main pods and regard the extra content as a bonus. But it’s all very entertaining.
Going to need a longer commute though: they’re producing a load of stuff.

Can’t keep up with the current H&H output! I’d have happily paid the two quid for the regular pods and view the rest as a bonus.

He’d have had a few games at left midfield if he’d been been here in the first half of the season.

This is where DoFs earn their corn. If Tav’s not signing a new contract he’ll have to go now or in the summer for less. We’ve then got a judgement call to make on the basis of offers and the availability of potential alternatives. But we’ve not got the cash to play hardball at the moment so any respectable offer will surely see him go. Pity but selling for s profit is necessary for us.

We keep up that sort of shift and we’ll not drop many points this season.

And here was me thinking Holt was already on the field?
Niko till the 60th to feed our attackers. Then Pena and perhaps Barjonas.
We’ll need Batjonas on soon enough. Niko’s not going to last the distance and Holt and McCrorie will be blowing pot their erses

Riding our luck but maybes earned it a bit. Working like maniacs but need more composure when we’ve got possession, just to take the pressure off if nothing else. Oh, and Madden’s given us little and I hope Scott Brown injures himself, the torn-faced little rat.

Humbug!
Xmas cheer may come at Ibrox on Wednesday.

I'm trying to keep the heid. Murty is rated at the club and has been ok as caretaker. The players seem to like him. I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd become the next manager and it's a decision many would have backed before that brothel of a performance against St Johnston.
Yes, I am trying to convince myself a bit.
