  1. The inevitability of Morelos 1-on-1. Save. I can't fault his effort there, though.
  2. These Referees are too incompetent to be cheating. They've got two brain cells between them all. Hopeless.
  3. Yes, there's more tempo and bite to our attacks, but I'm still not impressed with our approach.
  4. He's not having a 'mare. He's played well. He did just make a shocking error, though.
  5. Ahahahaha! Tackle from behind, catching Jack's achilles. Play on. F*ck. Off.
  6. We have to be more organised, if we're going to sit off teams. Or, instigate a press.
  7. Kentinho. Ryan Kent's Brazilian brother from another mother.
  8. Exquisite interplay from Tavernier, Arfield and Morelos.
  9. Lundstram is pretty good as a #6. He's unfairly treated because we can't get a tune out of him in other positions.
  10. We're quite reactive; no press at all. That's not bad in itself but we need to then be able to keep the ball, but I feel like we're too keen to counter, even when we get the ball back well inside our own half. That's difficult to do. We're then giving the ball up. It's a mix of styles, in a way.
  11. WTF is the Referee thinking? If that's against us, he plays on.
  12. That's twice Kent has tickled the post when he should be scoring. Everything else is brilliant play. He just needs to finish.
  13. Incidentally, when's the Dortmund game? They're currently 1-3 down against Leverkusen after 30 mins.
  14. I'm quite happy that Bassey is getting a run at LB; it's well-deserved. It looks like a 4-2-3-1, with Jack and Lundstram sitting. It looks solid, with either/or having the ability to break forward. Kent will be playing on the left, which leaves Arfield and Aribo for the other spots. Aribo playing wide, maybe? I'm not sure about that, though. Unless it's a completely different formation?
  15. Ramsey a key player for us, in terms of his versatility. He can play as a #6 in a double pivot, but then move forward to play as an #8. This gives us the ability to switch mid-game between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3. (Jack can do that, but I'm wary of putting too much pressure on him.)
  16. Apologies - It wasn't aimed at you, per se. I don't recall you saying we were too narrow, but it was certainly a common complaint.
  17. 2021: We're too narrow - we need wingers! 2022: We can't persist with wingers staying so wide.
