About 10 minutes into the BBC coverage and we've had about 2 discussing football and 8 discussing the various controversies.

    It's tiresome already.

Switch off. Not that i watch the BBC, but the less people watch this wokefest the better.

I don't understand all this criticism of Qatar. It's an excellent place to visit, just maybe not if you're a bleeding heart snowflake with the weight of the world on your shaky shoulders or a boozed up thug looking for a fight. If you're the former no one will give you a moment's notice and if you're looking for a fight then the Doha police will certainly accommodate you. Otherwise, great hotels, great roads, great restaurants, great climate, great stadiums, green grass, the lot.

I also don't understand why no one in the UK is capable of pronouncing the name of the country properly. The emphasis is all on the first 'a' not the second one.

But most of all I don't understand all this fuss about Qatar being selected to host the tournament. It seems to me nothing took place in this selection process that hasn't also taken place in every previous World Cup hosting process. The umbrage taken because the host isn't one of us and still openly practices institutional bribery and slavery seems completely over the top.

I think the concerns of most fans who are unaffected by snowflake fever is the disruption to domestic competition - remember the reluctance to even having a short winter break in the PL or EFL - let alone this mega break.

Also, I feel It is really too late to challenge the modern slavery issue of this WC as it started immediately Qatar was announced with only occasional MSM interest and now the stadia and infrastructure are complete, its too late for Lineker, Neville etc to bang the drum as many people have already died under the kafala system producing the seats these rich bums will be planted on pontificating.

To be fair to Arsenal they have turned it around under Arteta. Wonder how the vast majority of Gooners who wanted Arteta sacked for so long are feeling now

Yeah. We have gone backwards, though it doesn't help having, England fullbacks Chilwell and James out as well as Kante, Fofana and Kepa all of whom would have started. There are a lot of similarities between Gers and Chelsea performances atm, no urgency, can't do the basics, can't hit a barn door with a banjo, and seem not to care..... which is most worrying. Chelsea's next 2 games Man City and Newcastle lol :(

Today sums up Gios tenure domestically (and indeed mirrors some issues we had under Gerrard).

Slow uninspiring play. Endless crosses to no one. Lazy defending. Another medium term injury(Sakala's hamstring). No real quality chance creation.

This is season so far has been the result of many red flags coming to fruition.

Its time for the board to wake up, come out of hiding and act. Either make the tough decisions themselves or go appoint a David Holmes type to do it for you. Stop hiding. Its pathetic.

Bloody hell...... this sounds exactly like Chelsea :(

I think that's just the section where they put English fans, CB.  😀

You would hope so! But then again any trip with dad is always memorable for a wee one!

I remember visiting the old Juventus/Torino ground the Stadio De Alpi and that was quite basic even in the home areas... and freezing. My Italian favs Torino lost to Inter so great occasion poor result :)

I'm taking the wee man over to Milan in April, with the intention of going to see the Inter v Fiorentina match while we're there.

I've checked online about tickets but it seems there isn't a general sale until a couple of weeks before the match.  Anyone have any advice about getting tickets or just general advice about the city (the wee man is 11, so piss ups are off the cards)?

Make sure you relieve yourself before entering the stadium as the toilets are rudimentary to say the least, being just holes in the floor with a small surround!
