I wouldn't go that far.
Womens beach volleyball league and a cool drink, played a couple of stones throw from my house would have to do for me.
If it wasn't for Rangers, I would have given up football long ago.
We can all dream.

I know, but both Wilson and Goo both stated that the cash from players sales would be reinvested into the playing squad.
Then GVB says its not and we don't have money in the bank, saying he's happy with squad and contradiction of earlier statements.
Again, it's down to communication and setting expectations and trusting us with the truth.
Exactly, he's trying not to rock the boat, but it is obvious all the funds have not filtered down to the squad.

I think Chelsea is the perfect job for Pochettino and Poch the perfect manager for Chelsea. Its great timing, he is on a free and I think he would be suited to a top 6 club.
I really hope Potter stays at Brighton, his stock is going up by the week and Chelsea is a pack of cards at the moment and he could undo all the good work he has done. At the moment he is probably a cert for the next England manager unless Howe keeps progressing. A good job for Potter next would be Newcastle, Villa, West Ham etc - the next batch of clubs after the big 6 - thats unless he gets the England job after the world cup.
Potch won't be anywhere near Chelsea. Call after call on Talksport was against him and it never ends well if the fans don't like the manager, just ask Benitez at Everton or Chelsea.

Thats what I was thinking and wondered if doubling up somehow to use two broadcasters was possible. In saying that we dont want to lose SKY after the Setanta disaster years back.
On another note, am I missing something that Doncaster can simply issue a new / revised ‘commercial resolution’ to change the voting structure? While in the past when it came to league reconstruction and other matters this couldnt be done. Sounds more like making the rules up as they go along again.
Whose to stop them? It seems endemic in Scotland at the moment that authorities can alter regulations or dismiss valid criticism at will.

VAR is getting worse and should be suspended with immediate effect for ruining games with 100% wrong decisions. Its a bit like doing your driving test and the instructor saying congratulations you have passed - only for the DVLA to call you and say you failed and we are not giving you a license.
Newcastle one was the worst of the weekend but Everton fans must be raging Van Djik didnt see red. Chelsea are in a false position in the table due to their 3 pts being given and they are petty saying it went against them V Spurs - two wrongs dont make a right.
I also thought the Arsenal goal should have stood as the Ref was 10 yards away originally and had a perfect view so VAR shouldnt get involved.
Not petty. If you are asking for a suspension then it should include ALL wrong decisions not just for one weekend fixtures. So Chelsea would be in exactly the same position having beaten Spurs and drawn with west ham.

All that's left is a red for Alfie, then I think we've hit the ultimate in poor quality.
Don't say it, oh you did.

Not good. All it takes now is West Ham beating Chelsea and i'm gonna jump off the nearest bridge. Weekend ruined already - i hate these early kick offs.

Yes very defensive from the off and once the first goal goes in, we should have changed it up a bit, but stayed the same shape with the predictably same result.

I’ll take it. Could have been better and could have been worse. Celtic have the easier group this time.
Only by a whisker, they won't get past Madrid and i doubt Leipzig and Shakhtar seem to cause difficulties away. Think Gers have a chance with Napoli home and away and can beat Ajax at home, maybe squeak into 2nd place - depends what Ajax are like for me.

Tuchel gave him the iron grip of death and Conte wasn't expecting it, favouring the limp wrist shake.

Chelsea were really good, but have the same issue of not finishing chances.
A striker would help, but to be honest, the chances they create still should be taken.
Havertz sending a volley from 5 yards wide is inexplicable.
Brilliant match, though: the tactical flexibility from both was fascinating: 3-4-3 from Tuchel, changing to a 4-2-2-2, then Conte instructs his team to play deeper to counter the midfield overload, then going to a 4-2-4 to match up, then Tuchel goes back to the 3-4-3 to get the overload out wide getting ahead, before Conte goes back to 3-4-3 with actual wingers out wide to nick the point.
Agree with that, though referees association should be clearer with the type of fouls they will let go this year. Pulling a player down in the box by his hair would have been a fould last year and the Spuds wouldn't have had that corner. Saying that Chelsea should have been out of sight.

Nasty injury in the Everton game.
His leg just snapped!
Did you notice that If the linesman had kept up with play the injury wouldn't have happened as the ball had already gone out of play by at least 2 feet. The game carried on and he had to make that tackle. I think the player and Everton deserve an explanation.

I dont rate any of the players you stated. Prior to injury Loftus was the next thing I've seen to Vieira. He is very under rated - a box to box player.
Pulisic - my word - he is terrible.
As I said - best manager in the league in Tuchel but he has been very much hampered. I think he will walk and it will be Chelsea's loss.
Well they are all CL winners and all first choice starters for club and country.
You can't have seen much of Loftus. He plays well in one match in five and often disappears completely. He certainly is no Vieira and he isn't a youngster anymore as he is 27 next birthday.

Chelsea - possibly the best manager in the league but I see him leaving. He has been hampered a lot to be fair. Their squad is ridiculous and they need to sell.
But starting XI is very strong. Tuchel should go 5-3-2 and they will batter teams.
Mendy
James Chalobah Koulibaly Thiago Chilwell
Kante Loftus
Havertz
Werner Sterling
That side wins a lot of games. I dont buy the Mount hype - thats all he is - Hype.
Everton - Wow what a mess. If ever the owner needed to make a sacking its now and go get Mo Po. Lampard will get them 17th at best. Its obvious the owners dont like him as they arent backing him - so get rid. Fat Frank is never a manager - way to egoistic.
No way Loftus gets in the side ahead of Kovacic, Mount or Jorgino and i'm sure Gallagher and Pulisic will get games. Need anothe CH and possibly a CF.

I would be pleased if B’mouth and So’ton went down. Nothing against Fulham. I just think of them as Football League Div 2.
I'd prefer Fulham, Leeds and West Ham

Mmmm I see Chelsea got a thumping from the gunners yesterday
Yeah, TT was trying 4-4-2 and it wasn't a good idea!!
Plus the Gooners have played a couple more matches, so i wouldn't read too much into it.

Yikes. No hiding place for the players in them!!!

Man Utd pumping Liverpool 3-0 after 30 minutes.
It's a strong Utd side against a weak Liverpool side, though.
I say strong; it's the same sh*te that failed last season:
Martial
Sancho - Fernandes - Rashford
McFred
Shaw - Lindeloff - Varane - Dalot
De Gea
As you say, that is a poor Utd team, if they keep that as the central squad then there will be no CL again for them.

Well the other lot wouldn't want to play in the English league when they in favour of Independance. Money talks and I can't see why the waters couldn't be tested.

Iv'e never really taken to baseball or basketball, but must admit a liking for American football. I know its highly technical and lasts forever, but i have had the same team to follow (Oakland Raiders / LA Raiders/ Oakland Raiders MkII /Las Vegas Raiders - the joys of franchise football!!) and always watch when they play. I have even watched college football finals when it was on.
