I've been psychologically beaten into a mindset where, even if things seem to be going well at any point during the game on Saturday, I'll assume it's all just the build up to a crueller, more crushing disappointment further down the line.

No doubt both sets of supporters will find plenty to moan about.
Hopefully there's a handball or a foul on one of our players in their box, Collum doesn't give a penalty and then VAR intervenes and it's ultimately given and Tav puts it away.
I really like it when that happens and I think that'll make it twelve on the trot, so we've got a dozen from the doyen.
If Willie Collum says it's not a penalty, it's not a penalty. VAR can recommend all they like, our Willie will not be moved.

If this is what we get from Cantwell when he is subbed, what will be his philosophical thoughts when he is dropped?
Clement talks of collective with regards to the team and how the performance of an individual is secondary to that of the team.
Cantwell has been subbed before when he was not doing as he was instructed to do.
1 more strike and he may be out.

We should be asking for about double what we paid for Lammers WHEN we sell him. Hagi cant even get in the Alaves team so time to move on
Because Hagi can't get into the Alaves team does not mean he is rubbish. Because Lammers is getting the goals in the Netherlands does not mean he would do the same for us. It's all about fitting into a team's style and building relationships with team mates.
I'd like to see Hagi come back and see how he plays under Clement.

I'm bottling the run-in.
I retain the hope that in both the SPFL and GPL those who are currently placed second snatch it at the death.

Come home Sam. All is forgiven. Next year, a dual striker partnership with the "goal machine" Dessers.

From today's Guardian in relation to the Notts Forest complains, it appears in England, referees must declare any allegiance to a club.
At the moment officials have to declare their club allegiances and any others they have links to. This means they cannot officiate on the teams they support nor direct geographical or historical rivals to avoid a conflict of interest. Notts Forest want to add to this allegiances to account for contextual rivalries in the league table, not just local rivalries.
I was not aware of this requirement on referees. If the rule were to be extended from supported club and rivalries to include clubs battling for relegation/european spots, it's a wonder they could get any referees to officiate, or maybe referees in England are devoid of any affiliations to premiership teams.
Imaging if such a rule were to apply in Scotland.......

I'm with @Malangsob on this. Time to discard the sack cloth.

With all these biblical scholars on Gersnet, I'm surprised that nobody has given the definite quote, of which no one may question:
Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.

OK. We've had nearly 24 hours for reflection. Time to throw off the sack cloth and look ahead to better times. As the good book tells us:
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair;

I'm more concerned about his lack of end product than his stroppiness.
Our team could do with being a bit more stroppy!
Intae these gimps, Rangers! 🇬🇧
Clement talks of the collective and how all players, whether playing or not must be as one. It's not about individual performance but the team performance is what matters. Coming to think of it maybe Silva was annoyed at the team performance rather than him be subbed. I'll give him one more chance.
