  1. Anything to impress visitors...
  2. I'll let Bluedell reply to this (having seen his riposte elsewhere).... Suffice to say, SDM never seems to keen on sticking together when it's not him being criticised.
  3. Novo is a fascinating player. His form does seem to fluctuate and his confidence an important part of it. However, generally his contribution is of a decent level when one considers he plays left midfield, right midfield and up front on what seems to be a rotation policy!
  4. Did I say wings? I meant cupboards...!
  5. Text me anytime... my mobile is in the East Wing at night anyway and we sleep in the North wing...
  6. That's why Miller's early season form was so good. His working of the channels and link up play were important to the team in terms of creating space for Boyd and any offensive midfielders. Since December his movement has disappeared and it has affected his overall contribution. Possibly down to this injury he has but he may find it difficult to get back into the team if Novo can keep up that level of performance.
  7. You're the man... Worst time for these outages to happen is overnight as often Barry and I are not aware of them until the next day...
  8. BTW, if anyone wants to contact me if the site does go down in future, please use wsf_01@yahoo.co.uk
  9. Can't go into too much detail but because of the domain name issues we're now suffering from extra bandwidth problems. Trying our very best to minimise these but there may be the odd outage until then. Please accept our apologies and thanks again to Barry for his work in sorting this.
  10. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/newsite/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=733&Itemid=1 Novo for me... :box: PS: I've not been unable to keep these as regular this season so if anyone wants to post ratings threads, please feel free if I've not already done so.
  11. I think Yogi is as good an ex-Celtic player as you'll get... Reasonably fair and a genuine fitba man. And he is a Hibee so that's not as bad as a tim per se...
  12. Apparently Jordan didn't have the best of games of Hamilton at the weekend - although he was subbed at half-time due to injury...
  13. Seems highly rated by a few people but I can't see him being kept on.
  14. I'd agree with that...
  15. This was denied last night mate... http://sport.scotsman.com/football/Old-Firm-sponsors-deny-deal.4915051.jp
  16. Again, our club could pressure on GCC by leaking this info via a few of the usual lapdogs. A simple FOI request should secure an interesting article...
  17. There's no doubt the issues over the screen were the catalyst for trouble. However, there were too many people in these zones to start with so problems were always going to happen. GMP and the CoMC should be prosecuted by the HSE...
  18. Agreed. 50 fans fighting is not an uncommon occurance at English matches... the organisation for the day in Manchester was shambolic. Rangers should have been much stronger in pointing that out in their report. They should have also pressed the Scottish Government to call for a public inquiry.
  19. Indeed they have. I think we're kidding ourselves on if we try and suggest some of the obvious young neds in the photos are not bears. But, by and large, the vast vast majority of our fans were an absolute credit to the club in Manchester. If the authorities want to examine why problems were evident, then the first place they have to look is the mirror.
  20. I'm still a Scotland supporter obviously but I have the same feeling of alienation you mention. It's probably an unfair generalisation but I don't feel welcome as a Rangers fan to support Scotland nowadays. We're now the black sheep of the family so it's only natural that some of us feel like outcasts in our own country.
  21. Really efficient GMP, eh...? 49 out of 150-200,000 fans. All of which can't even be proved to be bears by the police 8 months later...
  22. Possibly mate but one of the reasons he came back here was for his family and because he supposedly missed the club so much. Now, if a Newcastle or a Sunderland came in for him, then it may interest him as he wouldn't need to uproot his family but any further South than that, I doubt it.
  23. Yeah, I reckon we'd have sold Thomson this month if he wasn't injured... Ferguson would probably be the best player to move on but I doubt we'd secure any more than £1million for him and that's even if he did want to move back South which is probably unlikely.
  24. Can't disagree with any of that...
  25. It's a valid point but I do think Davis doesn't do enough in games - centrally or in the wider role. Plus, he seems to shirk out of too many tackles IMO. Him, Ferguson and Mendes actually need to do more to dominate games.
