  1. I don't know if it's true that they are spending the money elsewhere, what is the anecdotal evidence?

Equally I'm not sure in what way the fans are being short changed? They pay to see a football match and that's what they get (quality is another issue).

As I said I don't blame fans for trying to effect change if that is what they perceive is required and I agree that the Board's current strategy needs to be overhauled.

if supporters are merely consumers who buy a product, then you can hardly blame anyone who decides not to buy for our current predicament. Can't have it both ways !

  2. just how many shares would king need to get control

I think if he buys more than 29% he is legally obliged to offer to buy the rest of the shares in the company. So in the event of a new share issue, he'll still need allies.

  3. "At over 50%, is it? Is it really? Have a look at our accounts, our 120 day review. Turnover averages at £19m and football costs well over £10m. It is disgustingly high"

    Daily Record 10/4/2014

In accounts now filed with Companies House, TRFCL has reported operating costs of £35.3 million for the 13 months to June 30, 2013 on turnover of £17.6 million, with the first team wage bill for the year having come in at £7.8 million.

  4. Ashley cant buy the club as the sfa will veto that move so why does mister king not make a move to buy a controlling shareholding I am fed up hearing that he doesn't want to line the pockets of the present board but at the end of the day he will either have to do it or try and get the club as green did if we go into administration again and there is a chance that could happen again the way the finances are going

King says he'll buy when there's a new share issue

  5. Eck was ok

but I remember at his time with us he got pelters for baffling team selections with players out of position

Malky MacKay might be looking for a job. Maybe he doesn't fancy China or Russia

    you never know

  6. Absolutely. The rules are the rules.

Had this been us and not them we would be saying the same thing "They broke UEFA's rules. That isn't our fault". Much as though I despise the fact they get another "get out of jail free" card - to suggest it is their lack of sporting integrity that caused it is, frankly, utter nonsense.

    no we wouldn't,

we'd have withdrawn from the competition

    It's a matter of Sportsmanship

in fairness, I heard an interview where 2 tims actually said Celtic should do just that

  7. ally said what a manager has to say or he's not a manager for very long

he's made sure the right amount of finance has been invested in the team

what he's done with it is a different story

He took what Green offered early doors, what choice did he really have

W need to appreciate people like Ally and Walter are on our side

  8. If we hadn't been demoted Ally would have been sacked 2 years ago never to be employed in football again.

    for the board.

I think you're right about Ally spending more time with his family if we hadn't been demoted. I think you're wrong that he would never find another job in football.

I also think Ally is a bastion against those who would bleed us dry because I believe he is one of us.

Paradoxically (if that's a word !) I think the board want to keep him because he's a lightning rod that avoids electrocution for the board.

  9. what are you on about !

    this is what Mohsni said

He said: “I was very, very upset with myself at Derby and I acted stupidly. When we gave the second goal away it was my fault and I didn’t defend well after.

“It wasn’t about their player who tackled me. It was more about myself and I reacted badly. I’m very sorry to the fans and my team-mates about that.
