I will admit something. Last year's loss to Progres Unicorn was the first time I have been embarassed to be a Rangers fan. That shit was humiliating. The Celtic losses yeah, they suck, but at least you can say they have a good squad. We need to caste out these demons man and whip these gypsies like they stole somethin. For real.

Done...good luck with your course.

Goldson-If he can stay healthy he will be a special one I feel.
Ejaria-same but I don't think we will see much of the 'special' at Rangers.
Katic-high upside with proper coaching and timed implementation. Remember this is a guy with Croatian caps. That is one hell of a squad.
Arfield-hard worker, known commodity will be an improvement.
Murphy- another known commodity and solid signing.
Flanagan (if signed)-To steal an oft used phrase from you Scots; not the quality we require.
Morelos...the team needs to keep this chubby little dude. Yeah he misses 'Grand Canyon' shots at times but he is a weapon and the armory is pretty empty.

Thumbs down on Flanagan. No disrespect to our skipper SG, I understand his situation and I respect it but...
He didn't crack the first team at Liverpool and was relegated to playing with the U21 & U23 squads most of his time there. He started 12 matches at Bolton but was carded three times in those twelve...two of which were very close games in the 89 & 90th minutes.
Yes, this is very small sample size but it is predictive. This tells me one thing, he is not an intelligent player. What I mean is when offenses press in the closing minutes of a tight game, technique, and ability to predict tactic is pressed as the game speeds past most people's physical ability to compensate. Players whose growth is mentally and physically commensurate will begin to spot these things. They are aware of the clock, can predict movement and as such can press back via countermeasure. Unintelligent players will revert to the physical, panic and draw the card every time due to poor positioning and inability to spot tactic.
This requires spatial intelligence, predictive planning and field feel with respect to self, opposing players and teammates. In short...to quote a good friend of mine; "He has the dumb...somethin fierce".

Hot damn son...tied for first. I'm gonna take a pic of that cause I know it won't last long.
If England would stop playin like crap and put it in the goal against Ali Baba and the ten wingers here, I would be happier.

I can't remember a time when Messi has impressed me on the world cup stage.
That Iceland goalie was channeling the Viking Gods. He made some really good saves...including the penalty.

I thought the Argentina game would be tight. Iceland are difficult to play against.
Messi's penalty was bad, but I think Cuevas has just beaten it for Peru. Terrible penalty.
I prithee thee your grace. I called the correct score for the Denmark/Peru game and picked it as my joker. Don't mean to be a fly in your eye but...give a brotha his props.

I really like his mindset and leadership theories. Let's see if it is reflected on the pitch. I haven't been this stoked for a season start for...wow.

He certainly talks the talk. Lets hope he can walk the walk.
Now that FC Twente have been relegated they are selling some players. Just for Gunslinger, Vuckic?
If we can canibalize quality from them...it's all about Rangers. To hell with everyone else.

Stevie is a G. I like this guy's attitude. I hope his tactics can match.
Non-verbals--Candeias is in it...up near the front...smiles...arms around teammates.
Morellos is NOT down with this. Two photos posted Morellos is either in the back or separated from the group...scowls in facials. There are more in the link. He is always behind or separated. Self-segregation is a big indicator of issues.
Where is Morellos?
Physically separating himself from the team.
Where is Morellos?
This guy is the offensive engine for the club. Not promising.

Call me a terrible sports fan but I have NEVER understood the allure of home v. away. It's not as if the other team gets an extra man. It's not as if there is some sort of game handicap initiated.
If I were on the pitch I would relish away games, especially in an attacking position. The rush of shutting opposing fans up is pretty spectacular. I have been to sporting events as an away fan where the team I supported thrashed the home side. The atmosphere created was intoxicating. For my money, even more than at home. It's as if you are part of a conquering army and the citizenry just emotionally relent. Those faces downturned and sorrowful brings true happiness. Nothing like taking scalps in indian country. Real champs, are killers.

When did I enter the Twilight Zone?
Yeah...we let the split tails on the pitch during the suffragette movement...worst mistake ever! lol!

They actually have women doing analysis at the world cup?
Stop the world, i'm getting off!
Well, I can't speak for the rest of the planet but in the US our women have actually won World Cups. As opposed to the men who can't even qualify...bums.

The Ruskies did a number on em. Yeah, the win was predictable, the score though, damn son!

but lacking something, for me.
Actual French names on the team?...Yeah me too...their national roster reads like a Casablanca phone book.
However, they are playing an Aussie team who finished behind Japan (good squad) and Saudi Arabia in their confederation and thus, had to beat world powerhouse, Honduras to get in.

He is a known variable...not an improvement. However, he whipped us like a rented mule last year. I realize we had three blind mice on D last year, but still. Here's to him going the Pena route! Cheers!

Yeah, I think this guy Goldson is the real deal. I think if he wouldn't have had his heart issue we would be talking about him going to an EPL power.

So loaded that they didn't win La Liga or the Copa del Rey last season ?? Aye, ok. You are clearly buying into the "Real Madrid, super team" nonsense.
Helen deserves a chance...that's all I'm sayin.
