Fergie is the obvious one but tend to agree with you and would go for Hodgson. What he has done for Fulham has been such a suprise from the state the club were in last season.

Yip Hodgson for me also.

If Man U had won the CL then id have maybe went for Sir Awex, or if Everton had won the cup then Moyes would have pipped it.

If Villa had not fallen away in the final quarter then MON would have been in with a shout.

Went for Moyes as well. Taking Everton to 5th with the injuries they've had over the season, and playing without a recognised striker in some games, is a remarkable achievement. Add in reaching the FA Cup final and his eye for spotting a good deal in the transfer market and he wins my vote.

Moyes. Continues to get the most out of average players, and had to deal with a number of injuries. 5th and a final is remarkable.

Also had to play a big chunk of the season without a recognised striker.

Moyes for me as well.

I voted for Hodgson.

When you consider the dire state Chris Coleman left them in when he came in, and he has them playing in europe only 1 1/2 seasons later, it is just incredible for a small ish club with resources that are small time compared to all the other european contenders this year bar Wigan.

If you ever get the chance to listen to him either co- commentating or being interviewed in depth, try listen. You get the idea that he is the type of guy that has lived, breathed and will die football.

Another thing, look at his c.v.

Theres some BIG suprises in there.

Definetly a contender for Gers manager of the future although he is getting on a wee bit now.

I dont think Moyes has that much average players, he has some cracking players like Yobo, Lescott, Neville, Arteta, Cahill, Osman, Yakubu. A few of them have came from nowhere but their quality has came through. They just never seem to have any strikers fit. Plus they are a club with 40,000 every week and a huge tradition - compare that to Fulham who were in the lower tiers of english fuseball not so long ago!
