Real Madrid have just had an election so they are getting busy right away but most other clubs will wait until pre-season before any deals are done. But Hreidasson is same age as Campbell at 34 and would lack pace for centre half and wouldnt be better than Papac at LB IMO. This stage of the summer will be quiet until managers get back to the office and start to make decisions. Players have also just done another international week so they will only start going on holiday now also. That makes a huge difference compared to the amount of bench warmers we normally sign, although last year was mainly starting players with Bougherra, Mendes, Davis and Miller. A partner for Bougherra is a must and should be top priority IMO. If he gets injured or suspened we will be desperate in that department as McCulloch isnt the answer, Broadfoot is out until Nov and Weir is 40 regardless of how well he did last season. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
