I'm sure one of the bigger European clubs will pick him up. I was disappointed we didn't go for him when he quit Alkmaar just over a year ago, and looking at what he did for Porto he could have done a good job for us. He would probably have enjoyed the stability that a manager of Rangers receives. However I'm now immensely happy with PLG as our manager and I'm pretty sure he's not a man to quit as easily. CammyF 6,787 Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Whilst over in Porto for the CL game, we did the stadium tour and hung around their wee cafe / pub thing most of the day following the game. Most Porto fans we spoke to said that the support never really took to him and he had messed with 'their team' and had dropped / sold some of their favourites. We were telling them that he was hugely respected and that we would take him as the Rangers manager and most replies were - you are welcome to him...
