Does this deal blow that theory ? Surely Rothen will be getting more than 3k a week from us ? Confused loyal. A pay cut of 3k a week is far different from that. If so I retract the statement as I thought it was 3k a week salary. What was he on anyway ? This information on Rothen could be gathered from a variety of sources online by just about anyone. There's only a handful of types of person that would go to the trouble - A PSG fan, a Rangers fan, a tim with more time than sense or a sports journo with more time than sense. A paycut of 3k a week would mean he was paying us 3 grand to play surely. It could be that he was willing to take a "3k per week cut from my contract at Newcastle". Who knows. Only Cammy can answer definitively.
