There were always going to be questions over his fitness and the best way for him to prove how well he is is to be playing first team football week in week out. The fact that he's at United is good in that it's easier for us fans to keep tabs on how well he's performing and by all accounts he's made himself a first pick in what is a pretty decent United central defence.
