Some Positive News At Youth Level

For the first time in a while Rangers have the largest representation in a youth squad, long may it continue.

U16's Squad

Ryan Booth (Dundee United)

Defenders

Ross McCrorie (Rangers)

Ross Lyon (Rangers)

Leon Jones (Heart of Midlothian)

Daniel Higgins (Celtic)

Lewis White (Rangers)

Jack McMahon (St Mirren)

Midfielders

Sean McKirdy (Heart of Midlothian)

Frank Ross (Aberdeen)

Ben Stirling (Hibernian)

Joshua Laws (Fortuna Dusseldorf)

Charlie Gilmour (Arsenal)

Regan Hendry (Celtic)

Kyle Clark (Rangers)

Forwards

Alistair Coote (Dundee United)

Calvin Miller (Celtic)

Josh Jeffries (Rangers)

Ryan Watters (Motherwell)

Ross Lyon, Ross McCrorie and Josh Jeffries have been at Rangers since a young age.

Ross Lyon is attracting interest from EPL sides, a player with good technique plays in midfield or at right-back on occassions.

Ross McCrorie is a centre-back , he hasn’t quite had the same profile as his brother Robbie but that could change in the future. An accomplished defender who is progressing well.

Josh Jeffries is a skilful attacking player. I believe his best position would be supporting the main striker but has played in a variety of attacking roles.

Lewis White joined from Musselburgh Windsor a couple of years ago, he has really taken off since moving to left-back. Was in the Hibernian youth system a few years ago, exciting attacking full-back who gets forward at every opportunity.

Kyle Clark is a new recruit who was previously at Dundee, as yet I haven't seen him play, but should rectify that this weekend.
