Miller accepts 'timely reminder'

Recommended Posts

I've said this on Gersnet before, but we really just have to take it one game at a time. I think after the Killie game we all - myself included - got carried away a bit. I still think Sunday was a one off. We don't lose 3 goals at home very often. We just have to stay calm and we'll get there I think. Lets go and win a Cup Final first and secure the first Trophy in the quest for a glorious Treble :spl:

It's not a time to be cocky just yet. We still have to go to Tynecastle (probably twice), Tannadice, Easter Road and Celtic Park therefore we cannot afford to drop stupid points at Ibrox or against 'diddy' teams

I'm just a bit concerned by these knee-jerks reactions to dropped (or nearly dropped) points. It is inevitable we will drop points between now and the end of the season. The gap will in all likelihood decrease as Celtic play 2 league games before our next.

The size of the gap is now immaterial. We must accrue 18 of the remaining 30 points available to guarantee the title. The likelihood is a few points less than that will actually secure the league crown, but we'll work with that definite figure of 18 for now. Any draw contributes to that total. For example we could draw 2, lose 2, win 6 and still win the league. If one of the draws or wins is against Celtic, it's even better.

People don't need to shit their pants every time we (almost) drop a couple of points now.
