He has done a much better job at ICT this time around than any of his previous managerial attempts, but while I loved him as a player for us, as a pundit and a man he comes across as a bit of a dick.

I think how he performs as a football manager is the most important thing. There's absolutely tons of football managers (even at top clubs in Europe) that 'come across as a bit of a dick'. We've had a fair share of idiots and downright arseholes managing in Scottish football over the years and I respect Butcher more than a lot of them.
