The Turkish side are believed to have made an enquiry for Ferguson and are ready to follow up their interest in the classy midfield playmaker. Ferguson has been a massive success at Birmingham since his arrival from Rangers in the summer of 2009 and has been one of the most impressive performers in the Premier League. The former Rangers star, who won the Birmingham City players' Player of the Year award for 2009-10, was rewarded for his fine form with a new deal at St Andrews last summer. Ferguson's performances have caught the interest of a number of clubs across Europe and Galatasaray are ready to test Birmingham's resolved to keep hold of the player. Birmingham would be loath to lose Ferguson, but they could face a battle to keep him if Galatasaray offer a lucrative deal for the former Scotland international. He's almost back to the player he was as a youngstar, madness considering how awful he was in his last season here. He has shone at Birmingham and I always thought he played better for Scotland than Rangers coz it wasnt all about him.
