Weir is most definitely match-fit, but his physical attributes have tailed off to the extent that they are not up to the required standard. It's his managers job to recognise and deal with that. Not the employees. I think ti goes both ways. Weir is old enough and experienced enough to realise when enough's enough. Walter is old enough and experienced enough to realise Weir is going downhill fast. There was a close-up of Weir today, it was about the 70th minute and he looked about 60 years old.
