I was pleasantly surprised with how sharp and mobile Healy looked last season after he signed so I'm quite happy about this.

However, we really now need to move Beattie on as we can ill-afford the two of them IMO.

I'd give Beattie another chance. he is a good football player. In fact i wouldn't sell a soul right now as players can get a new lease of life under a new manager, and with Ally being a striker i think we are all hoping that Rangers will be set up a bit more attack minded this season.

This squad did win the league under extreme circumstances which looks good on each and every player that kicked a ball for the 1st team this year IMO

Well it would seem we are sorted for striking options depending if Beattie goes. To be honest we should have enough cover up there with Lafferty, Jelavic, Naismith, Fleck and Healy. I would also throw in Kane Hemmings and Kal Naismith who I would expect to feature this season as well.

This is shaping up to be another gritty , backs to the wall , grind out results season .

I hope I am wrong and we eventually get some quality reinforcements in , but we may just be asking the same players to go to the well once too often , still 8 weeks of the window left , optomistic loyal

I'll be quite pleased if Healy signs again. I'd rather have him and Hemmings getting some games than giving that shark Thompson at Dundee Utd 2 million quid for a trouble maker. If we were buying a striker from Tayside I'd rather it had been Griffiths from Dundee while he was available on the cheap. We could have had him for £150k and Jocky Scott would have flown him down by jet-pack! :D
