Hearts reject Rangers bid for Wallace

Recommended Posts

Hearts have rejected a bid of around £1 million from Rangers for left-back Lee Wallace. Ally McCoist may now give up on the player and turn his attentions elsewhere.

Rangers are really struggling to secure new players with bids being rejected and players opting to go to other clubs. They are also in danger of losing Steven Whittaker who rejected the latest contract offer, although did get David Healy signed up on a new deal.

Rangers have also had bids rejected for Carlos Cuellar and David Goodwillie so far this season. They also lost out on Neil Danns and Craig Conway. Looks like we are going to have to dig deeper. :violin:

Move away from Wallace immediately, £1m was too much in my opinion. If he wants to come to us he can run down his contract and sign a pre-contract. Although the Championship clubs well be circling by the point.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Time to move on.

Kenny Miller, top scorer, experienced internationalist moved on for £600,000 on his final year.

Wallace, not a goalscorer and certainly not an experienced internationalist.

They want £3m for him in his final year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He MIGHT become a top player, that's why there are "sell on fees"

To pay more than £300,000 for him is absolute nonsense imo.

If he wants to come then he will have to make a transfer request or wait until next season.

No more stupid million pound bids for this player.
