Never a red card. Again, football is for pussies these days thanks to the officials.

 

That said, GAME ON with City coming back into it with a couple of goals.

 

Good to see Scholes back too :D

IMO, from the replay I saw, it was an incredibly harsh red card. Studs NOT showing and I didnt think that it was two footed either, looked to me as if he had a leading foot.

 

Would like to see it again though.

Letter of the law, its a sending off. Common sense, not a sending off. Chris Foy is a terrible ref. Imagine City had scored after united just needed to clear the ball in the dying seconds then it hits off the ref and City end up with a corner.

 

Cracking game from a neutrals point of view though. Credit to City

I saw that tackle for the first time and no way was it deserving of a straight red card, I'd see why a ref may give a yellow, but that's only based on how rotten they are at their job, not by any malice shown by the player.
