If he is performing at a 7 whilst team-mates are at a 5 does that merit a new contract ? I would say he deserves one. Given Fleck has now gone south too it is looking increasingly likely that Fleck's time at the club is drawing to a close - so signing Aluko would be a decent bit of business if his contract demands arent excessive.
