There was an interview of this Steve Mclean, one of our newest and young refs, talking about a training camp he's at, or been at in Malaga, Spain. He was on about how the modern player is fitter and refs have to be as well to keep up with play and make good and better decisions. We all know it need to be the WHOLE ball, which means both sides of the sphere. The near side could be on the line from that angle. Would like to see it from the goal line. It does indeed seem as if these decisions are going for Celtic this season.... I dont see any evidence of them "evening out" was was suggested when they were discussing the Wallace "goal" against them. If that one for Hearts is given it changes the whole complexion of the game. Likewise the one not given to us for the Wallace goal. If the Wallace one were given we could have had a point (or better) on the OF.
