SPL meeting including financial fair play vote delayed until next Monday

Recommended Posts

I think we'll see the power our protest march has along with the ongoing boycott of the SFA sponsors today. Before we Unified as a fan base they may have hit us hard today.

I now believe they will back down. :flute:

They will have read the various tweets, message boards and FB pages as well as seen the 10k+ that marched. They know we will boycott away games next year and the years that follow.

IMO they will put new strong rules in place. But suspend bringing it in for one or two seasons, which is the right thing to do as it gives all clubs a chance to get their house in order.

I may be very wrong, but sitting here now and assessing everything that has gone on.

That is my opinion. :54::54::54::54::54:

Yep. In any case, the board of the SPL who made up this attempt on legislation and want to see it installed by May 14th - just to hit us again while we are toiling - needs to be remembered ... and their respective clubs being targetted with an away fan embargo next season.

I doubt that they'll get the 11 votes for the 2nd part of the ruling (75% monetary cuts), and whether they get the 8 votes for the other half remains to be seen. There are some sane people in the SPL club's boardrooms still. (What goes around, comes around ... sooner or later.)
