John Brown's Bid for Rangers

Recommended Posts

Iain King of the Sun said tonight on Radio that he's100% sure Ticketus own Ibrox and the training ground,as Creditors isn't that illegal?

If you heard it from the Sun then you can be 100% sure

it's pish.

I trust Iain King more than any other journo in Scotland. If he says ticketus own Ibrox, we must listen.

Do you honestly think £1.5m got Green a world class stadium, world class training ground and the car park? Do you really?

iain king is no rangers hater that's for sure.

I would have hoped people would have learned form this last year to keep an open mind.

if we aren't cautious we might end up screwed again.

what next a ban on the sun and a boycott that's the pattern.

that's what people said about the record and ticketus almost exactly a year ago.

The Ticketus deal made sense. This doesn't appear to make sense.

When did they buy it? From who? Green? Can't have been D&P.

Why would Ticketus buy it? They have no legal claim over newco.

we know green was struggling for cash.

we know whytes on the hook to ticketus

we know ticketus were involved in many bids

we know tickets went to court claiming the owned seats at the stadium.

I don't understand the mechanism for this. I don't even necessarily believe it but I'm not ruling it out.

after all its surely impossible to buy a football club with ticket revenue from that club if you don't own it yet. or is it.
