I'd have tended to drop the players that are playing poorly but each to his own.

I would tend to do that too, but I don't have a huge issue with what Ally chose to do either, which was basically drop the young lad to the bench and give Sandaza his first start.

Just hope we dont put too much pressure on the boy, he is only 17.

We do this a lot , a boy comes a long shows promise plays well , all of a sudden hes the future of the club and he dissappears under the pressue

so you keep the poor performer and drop the guy who ends up rescuing the day. I can't see the value in it personally.

That's why neither you or I are professional football managers!. It's not an exact science so what is good for one player doesn't mean it's good for the other. Sometimes players play bad because of lack of confidence and dropping them won't help, however if a player continuall plays bad then maybe he should be dropped?,the question is when to decide to drop them?.

As for playing a 17 year old boy every game can have a detrimental effect on him and his career, when to play him again is when the manager thinks it's right to play him,it's called man management.

We are not football managers, maybe there is a reason for that?.

Getting played every game never did Rooney any harm, never a better chance to blood the young talent we should romp these games just by the fact we can afford to buy a better player and our fitness levels are way ahead of the opposition so the pressure should be off them. McKay has looked the best player we have by a country mile when the ball is on the deck, Peterhead the ball got punted over his head most of the day what chance did he have.

I could go back toast season and point out that our win rate with jig in the team was less than 50% whilst with wylde it was 90% yet only whose was dropped.

I might not be a football manager but my maths is fine as are my eyes.

From what I can see McCulloch played 30 times last season, are you saying we failed to win over 15 of those matches? Wylde played in 21 matches, a 90% win rate is something like 18 games.

I imagine McGregor played in most of the matches we failed to win last season, should he have been dropped for Grant Adam? Statistics tell us part of the story, not all of it.
