Did you also check the average first team experience and against whom that experience was acquired? People have every right to expect quality stuff from quality players. If they expect quality stuff from average players they will be disappointed. No matter what their age is. Our only above-average first teamers are Templeton, Wallace, Macleod, and perhaps McKay. Templeton has been off the rails for weeks, Macleod's injured, Wallace commendably soldiers on and gives his all, while McKay has hardly seen a full game of late (for whatever reason). Our - by Rangers standards - at best average squad was bound to suffer from the hands of a DU team that is hardly a pub side, their most potent weapon (their attack) worked well yesterday. They are no über-side, but likewise we are nothing but a shadow Rangers team. I wonder how many of these players wages would you need to make up one of ours. Alexander, Wallace, Black, Sheils, Sandaza and Templeton are/have been, top SPL players. I could take results and performances, though not the lack of fight, if we were a young team but we are not. We have players who are overpaid and are not up for the fight. Folk hardly anyone on here has ever seen or actually heard of before? Whom would you have played then? WHO would have made a difference? (BTW, hindsight is a great weapon to wield.)
