That notion is exactly what the m(h)edia wants. Make no mistake here - they are at it as the "big naughty nasty Rangers in administration" story slowly disappears from the pages. The media gives a f*** about what goes on at the Scumhut et al week in and week out, but if Green utters a couple of words, both on purpose taken out of context IMHO, hell breaks loose. Which, BTW, is not to say that I don't deem Green's remarks ill-advised at best. You think hard nosed investors give a monkeys about anything but making money, if the share price drops it will be a blip and they will just wait out the storm.
